PLACEMENT COUNSELOR
This is a full-time position. As a member of the Placement Team, a Placement Counselor works to recruit and place teachers and administrators in independent k-12 schools world wide.

Responsibilities include working with a variety schools to meet their hiring needs, referring varied and interesting candidates to positions in assigned disciplines, interviewing and assessing teaching candidates and guiding them through their search, and completing various long-term research projects (in conjunction with the Recruitment and Conference teams). Some travel to our hiring fairs and to visit schools nationwide is required.

This Placement Counselor position demands:

• Excellent interpersonal and writing skills
• The ability to prioritize diverse responsibilities in an efficient, organized manner
• A strong work ethic
• Proficient technology skills (including a facility with Excel and other databases)
• The ability to self-motivate
• A want to be a part of a dynamic, energized team

A bachelor’s degree is required; relevant work experience is helpful though not required. Other contributing factors can include: 1) a strong academic record and 2) a long-term career interest in either education or business.

This position can serve as a precursor to a Placement Associate position -- or other senior level positions -- within the company.
