This fall, the staff of Carney, Sandoe & Associates began its sixth straight year of our tutoring services at the Boston Renaissance Charter School. Almost every employee at CS&A contributes significant time providing tutoring service to 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders at BRCS. Working in teams of four, CS&A tutoring services provide homeroom teachers with an opportunity to break their classes down into smaller groups and spend time focusing on the needs of individual students.
With CS&A tutoring services, we work one-on-one with a student on remedial reading, writing or math skills. Every day of the week, at least two CS&A employees are teaching at the school.
As President Devereaux McClatchey explains, "Our time with the kids is central to our mission and one of the most important things we do here.”
