Now that most schools are back from holiday break and moving full-steam ahead into 2019, we here at CS&A are gearing up for our eight hiring conferences this winter which kick off in just a few short weeks with FORUM/Diversity.

Held over two days on January 25 and 26 in Philadelphia, FORUM/Diversity is a combined hiring conference for job seekers and schools and professional development event around topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in our schools. For the fifth year in a row, FORUM/Diversity is a unique opportunity for underrepresented groups of all types to find their best-fit jobs while participating in and learning from exceptional professional development panels meant to inspire and invoke change around DEI work.

All are welcome — attendees only need be current CS&A candidates or representatives from K-12 independent, private, and like-kind schools currently working with us.

We already shared with you our two keynote speakers: Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, professor, speaker, and author of 19 books including New York Times' bestseller “Tears We Cannot Stop: A Sermon to White America,” and Dr. Peggy McIntosh, founder of the National SEED Project on Inclusive Curriculum and Senior Research Associate at the Wellesley Centers for Women.

Today we're thrilled to announce the session topics and speakers for FORUM/Diversity. We've gathered some of the best DEI practitioners, consultants, and school leaders from across the country. Together, they will be hosting inspiring and challenging discussions, sharing tactics and best practices from their own work, and providing safe spaces for personal and professional reflection. Even if you're not currently looking for a new job, the opportunity to network and participate in sessions is alone worth attending for.
