Virtual Hiring Resources

During these very difficult times, all of us at Carney Sandoe express our hopes that you and yours are safe and well. We also want to make sure you know that our team is here for you and ready to help in any way that we can.

In light of COVID-19 and its impact on schools, we understand that hiring decisions may be pushed to later this spring or summer, or even to next year. But we also recognize that ultimately certain positions will need to be filled and that hiring will remain an important component of schools' planning process over the next few months.

We also understand that job seekers must be going through their own thought process in terms of their job search. Accordingly, we encourage candidates to be in touch with their CS&A Team when they can to update them on their search status.

While many schools and educators are adjusting to remote learning environments because of COVID-19, hiring processes are also being adjusted accordingly. We’ve aggregated a collection of best practices and first-hand examples from both schools and job seekers regarding virtual hiring. We’ll be updating the page throughout the spring as more information becomes available.

I would like to submit a letter of recommendation for Samantha Adler, where can I do that? Thank you.

Hi Laura, there are two ways. Samantha can log into her account with us and generate a custom link so you can upload a letter confidentially. Or, she can send you the email address of the Associate she is working with at our firm and you can email the letter to that person, again confidentially. If confidentiality is not an issue, you can of course give the letter directly to Samantha for her to upload to her account.
