Hiring Conference FAQs

What are CS&A’s FORUM and LINK conferences?

CS&A Hiring Conferences are annual recruitment events that connect hiring schools with teaching and administrative job-seekers.  The FORUM conferences take place in the same cities each year, whereas the LINK conference, held in conjunction with the annual conference of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), changes its location annually.

Who attends conferences?

Depending on the conference, anywhere from 70-500 hiring contacts from independent schools will attend.  Active, registered CS&A candidates also attend each conference.

How often do conferences yield successful placements?

Independent schools have hired thousands of teaching and administrative job-seekers as a direct or indirect result of a CS&A hiring conference.  CS&A conferences are attended by independent schools more frequently than any other hiring event in the country,

How do conferences work?

  • Schools register to attend the conference
  • Attending schools gain access to all registered candidates’ resumes
  • Schools schedule 25-minute interviews with candidates who appear to fit their needs
  • Schools can schedule interviews prior to the conference and on-site

Where can I find directions to conference hotels?

Links to all hotel websites can be found on main conference page.

Where should I stay during the conferences I attend?

It is most convenient to stay at the conference hotels, and CS&A locks in an especially low rate at these locations.
