He comes to City and Country from Milton Academy, where he currently serves as Lower School Principal; prior to that, he was Dean of Faculty and Head of Lower School at the Hewitt School.

    Collegiate School is please to welcome Rekha Puri as their Assistant Head of School for Enrollment, effective this July.  She leaves The School at Columbia University where she holds an impressive 14-year tenure as Director of Admissions & Enrollment. Previously she served as Founder of LINEglobal (New York & Bombay) where she developed and implemented a global education initiative for a volunteer-based nonprofit that connects, supports, and empowers innovative collaborations between schools in the U.S. and India. Rekha has also held teaching and admissions leadership roles at schools throughout New York City, including Ideal School of Manhattan, Cathedral School of St. John the Divine, Playground Project Inc, and West Side Montessori School.  Rekha holds a BA in Fine Arts from Sir J. J. School of Art at Bombay University, an American Montessori Society Certificate from Montessori Teacher Education Center (CA), and an M.A. in Organization & Leadership from the Klingenstein Center at the Teachers College of Columbia University.

    Tiffani Hooper Bromberg College Counseling Director, Appointed for 2022

    The Dalton School is pleased to welcome Tiffani Hooper Bromberg as their next College Counseling Director. Since 2015, Tiffani has held several College Counseling roles at United National International School in New York, most recently Co-Director of College Counseling, while also serving as Curriculum Coordinator at New York University until 2018. Tiffani has spent 16 years in education in the college counseling field. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Yale University, a Bachelor of Arts in Black Studies and Fine Art from Amherst College, and graduated from Poly Prep Country Day School.

    Grace Church School is delighted to announce the appointment of Robert M. Pennoyer II (Robbie) as their tenth Head of School. Having served as Assistant Head of School and Director of Studies for the past four years, Robbie knows and loves Grace Church School. A dedicated educator, Robbie served as a teaching fellow at the Shrewsbury School in England, a seventh-grade homeroom teacher and secondary school advisor at St. Bernard’s School, and an Upper School admissions officer at Riverdale Country School. He also spent 14 summers working at Camp Lanakila in Vermont, where he directed the music program, supervised counselors working with the youngest campers, and trained staff in teaching and counseling. Robbie holds an A.B in English and American Literature & Language from Harvard College, and a M.Div in Anglican Studies from Yale Divinity School.

    Mark Mongelluzzo President , Appointed for 2022

    Holy Cross High School is happy to welcome Mark Mongelluzzo as their next President. He has been a member of Holy Cross High School’s Board of Directors since 2017 and currently holds the role of Executive Committee Treasurer for the school. Mark leaves Xavier High School in Manhattan where he has worked since 2008 including the past 10 years as Xavier’s Director of Development and most recently Vice President for Advancement. Prior to joining Xavier, Mark spent four years practicing law at Peter Birzon & Associates in Long Island. He also worked for two years in marketing and communications at Merrill Lynch. Mark holds a BA in History from Yale University and is a graduate of Boston University School of Law. Mark graduated as Salutatorian at Holy Cross High School.

    Vianney Motte Chief Finance and Operations Officer, Appointed for 2022

    Lycée Français de New York is please to announce Vianney Motte as their next Chief Finance and Operations Officer. Vianney leaves Arkadin/NTT Cloud Communication where he holds and impressive 13-year tenure, having served respectively as VP for Finance and Administration for North America, VP for Corporate Finance in Paris, France, VP for Legal and Finance, and finally Chief Financial Officer. Previous he held a variety of financial leadership positions at companies such as Hermes of Paris, Carl Zeiss SMT, Cegetel (Vivendi Universal), and Schneider Electric. Vianney holds an MBA from ESSEC Graduate School of Management in Paris, and a Superior Finance and Accounting Diploma from Lycée Saint-Genevieve in Versailles, France.

    Founded in 1935, Lycée Français de New York, is an independent bilingual French school for students from Nursery-3 to twelfth grade based in Manhattan. The Lycée offers a standard French curriculum taught by French-trained teachers. In parallel, students follow an American program, taught by U.S.-trained teachers, similar to what is found in New York City independent schools.     Manlius Pebble Hill School is delighted to announce James Foley as their next Head of School, effective July 2023. Jim has been the Assistant Head of School for Leadership and Innovation at St. Luke’s School in New Canaan, CT since 2015. He has been at St. Luke's since 2000, working as a teacher, basketball coach, Academic Technology Coordinator, and the inaugural Director of the St. Luke’s Center for Leadership. During Jim's tenure as the Director, the Center developed numerous workshops for students and partnerships with local organizations. Prior to St. Luke's, Jim had a successful career in finance and consulting. He holds a B.A. in economics from Swarthmore College and an M.A. in educational technology from Fairfield University.

    This summer, Nightingale-Bamford School welcomes Nichole Foster-Hinds as their next Head of Upper School. Nichole comes to Nightingale from Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, MD where she has served as Head of Middle School since 2017. Previously, she served as Middle School DEI Coordinator, Dean of 8th Grade, and Chair of Math Department at Princeton Day School. She has also held several faculty roles at Montclair Kimberley Academy, Holy Innocents Episcopal School, and Hun School of Princeton. Nichole holds a B.S in Business Administration from Purdue University, an M.B.A. in Operations Management from Pennsylvania State University's Smeal College of Business, and an M.A in Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary.

    Princeton Day School is delighted to announce that Kathleen O’Shaughnessey has been appointed as their next Head of Upper School. Katie has been at Rye Country Day School since 2016, serving as their Computer Science Department Chair, Director of Academic Technology, and Upper School Assistant Principal.

    While its roots date to 1899, Princeton Day School (PDS) was founded in 1965, the result of the merger of Miss Fine’s School and Princeton Country Day School. PDS is a co-educational, independent day school for 964 students in grades PK-12, with an upper school enrollment of 423 students.

    Riverdale Country School is proud to announce Reina Guerrero as their next Associate Director of College Counseling. She previously served in the college counseling offices of Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in New York, NY and Trinity Hall in Tinton Falls, NJ.

    Peter Quagliaroli Upper School Principal, Appointed for 2022

    Rye Country Day School has announced that Peter Quagliaroli, former Head of the Upper School at St. Anne’s-Belfield School in Charlottesville, VA, will be the new Upper School Principal starting in July. During Peter's accomplished seven year tenure at St. Anne’s-Belfield, he redesigned the daily schedule, secured a partnership with the University of Chicago Marine Biology Lab, contributed to the DEI strategic plan, and remodeled the student government and disciplinary committee. He was also actively involved in St. Anne’s-Belfield School COVID-19 task force. Prior to assuming the role as Head of Upper School, he served as College Counseling Director where he designed and implemented strategic changes to dramatically improve student outcomes. Before his time at St. Anne's-Belfield, Peter held a 13 year tenure at Groton School serving respectively as Dormitory Head, Head Coach (throughout), English Teacher, Grade Chair, and Associate Director of College Counseling. Early in his career Peter also held teaching and coaching roles at Westminster Schools, Harvard University, and Worcester Academy. A graduate of Roxbury Latin School, Peter holds a B.A. in English from Cornell University, an M.A. in American Literature & Jazz Music from Dartmouth College and is currently completing his M.Ed in Administration & Supervision from University of Virginia as well as his Certificate in School Management & Leadership from Harvard University.
