Ji Han Senior Consultant

Ji is a Senior Consultant in our Search & Consulting Group.

As a member of our International Schools Practice, Ji works collaboratively with her team and brings her extensive experience in many areas of school organization including recruitment, curriculum development, inquiry and concept based instruction, accreditation, professional growth, strategic planning, and developing school culture. She is deeply committed to international education, and has strong connections to partners from around the world.

In addition to her work in recruiting and supporting leaders, Ji is passionate about supporting growth and development through our Coaching & Mentoring Practice. She believes that growth is a key aspect of our journey as individuals and is committed to creating partnership with those she serves.

Previous Experience

Ji joined Carney Sandoe from Graland Country Day School (CO) where she served as Director of Curriculum and Instruction, overseeing all academic programs, faculty professional development, and student instruction. Prior to Graland, Ji served in various roles at the Zurich International School for over 25 years. During her tenure, her varied roles include Primary Years Programme Coordinator, Lower School Assistant Principal, and Coordinator for the Early Childhood Center. From 2008-2015, she served as Founding Principal Pre-School-Grade 8, a satellite campus of the Zurich International School, where she managed facility and campus operations and provided pedagogical and curriculum leadership at the new Baden Campus. From 2015-2021, Ji was the Director of Curriculum and Learning across all campuses, providing strategic focus and leading all educational programs through curriculum development and organizational improvement.

Ji’s professional leadership experience includes serving as a course trainer for the Principals Training Center, an Accreditation Team Chair for the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, a certified curriculum and instruction trainer for Professional Learning International, and a workshop leader and school visitor for the International Baccalaureate Organization. Most recently, she was named a Commissioner at NEASC for the Commission on International Education.

Education & Interests

Ji received her B.A. from University of California – Los Angeles, her M.A. in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University, and a Certificate of International Leadership from the Principals Training Center.

She lives with her husband in the beautiful alpine country of Switzerland where she enjoys hiking, biking, traveling, and all things outdoors.
