Tim Green is a seasoned leader in athletic administration and school operations with a deep commitment to helping independent schools build mission-driven, inclusive, and high-performing athletic programs. With more than three decades of experience across K–12 and higher education, Tim has developed and led dynamic athletic departments, coached championship teams, and mentored coaches and athletic directors nationwide. His work is guided by a strategic vision rooted in institutional alignment, operational excellence, and the holistic development of student-athletes.

Tim’s most recent role was as Director of Athletic Consulting for ST Athletics, where he led a national consulting division that partners with schools on departmental assessments, leadership mentoring, and strategic athletic initiatives. Prior to this role, he spent 18 years as Director of Athletics at Kentucky Country Day School (KY), where he oversaw more than 70 teams, launched new sports, expanded participation, and earned multiple state and regional championships. His leadership also includes impactful roles at Porter-Gaud School (SC), Darlington School (GA), and in higher education at Floyd College and the University of Florida.

Tim’s extensive experience spans athletic administration, physical education, summer program development, fundraising, Title IX compliance, and curriculum design. He is also a Certified Master Athletic Administrator (CMAA) and serves as an adjunct faculty in sport administration at Bellarmine University and the University of Louisville.

Tim holds an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Alabama, a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Florida, and a B.S. in Physical Education from Vanderbilt University, where he was a scholarship athlete and football letterman. A recognized leader in the field, Tim has received multiple Coach of the Year honors and awards for teaching excellence. He is based in Louisville, Kentucky, and enjoys mentoring rising leaders, developing coaching talent, and promoting athletics as a vital extension of a school’s educational mission.
