Julia Mazella is the Senior Operations Associate for the Search and Consulting Group. In this role, she assists with the behind-the-scenes work that goes into each search, including handling candidate submissions, website updates, social media posts, and database management, among other tasks.

Julia previously spent seven years at a continuing legal education nonprofit in Boston, MA, where she worked on program administration and the creation of educational program materials for print and web. She worked as an independent contractor for Carney Sandoe for six years before joining the team full-time in 2022.

A Michigan native, Julia graduated from the International Academy in Bloomfield Hills and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in English. Throughout her time at the University of Michigan, she served as a writing tutor in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts’ Sweetland Center for Writing.

In her free time, Julia enjoys writing, attending concerts around the country, and seeing as many movies in theaters as she possibly can.
