Amy Rogers is a Consultant with the Search & Consulting Group supporting the Key Administrator and Catholic School practices.

Recent leadership searches include Breck School (MN), Buckingham, Brown & Nichols (MA), Canterbury School (CT), Catholic Diocese of Raleigh (NC), Francis Parker School (CA), International Coalition of Girls Schools (VA), ISF Academy (Hong Kong), Lake Highland Preparatory School (FL), Ravenscroft School (NC), Rye Country Day School (NY), and Tampa Prep (FL).

Amy brings over 25 years of independent school experience to her work at Carney Sandoe in admissions, advancement, college counseling, residential life and academic planning. Most recently, she served as the Dean of College Counseling at Miss Porter’s School in Connecticut where she also supported the Center for Global Leadership, served on the  Academic Council, helped spearhead the school’s transition to competency-based learning, chaired the 12th Grade Curriculum Design Team, and was a member of the Internal Administrative Team.

A frequent presenter at consortiums and conferences including NAIS, EMA, TABS, ACCIS, and ICGS, Amy is a thought-leader on defining the return on investment of independent school education, the impact of the college process of student wellbeing, and designing pathways to professional advancement, among many others. A past board member of the Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools (ACCIS), Amy served as the Association’s chair from 2019-2022.

Before joining Miss Porter’s, Amy held positions at Chase Collegiate, Taft, Andover, Yale, and The Ethel Walker School. Amy’s role at CS&A represents a homecoming of sorts; from 2000-2003, she served as a Placement Associate tasked with recruiting and placing administrative leaders in independent schools across the country.

Amy holds a B.A. in English from Bucknell University and an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. A certified coach since 2019, Amy also holds a certificate in Positive Psychology and is passionate about helping people design their best lives. She lives in Boston and has two college-aged children.
