Angela Passafiume brings over two decades of transformative leadership in athletic administration across a wide range of school communities, from independent schools to state organizations. She is recognized nationally for her strategic planning, facility development, coaching mentorship, and ability to build inclusive and competitive athletic programs that support student-athlete growth and institutional values.

Most recently, Angela served as Interim Athletic Director at Greenwich Academy in Connecticut, where she was tasked with aligning the athletic department’s culture, staffing, and facilities with the school’s future vision. During her tenure, she led a comprehensive department-wide assessment that resulted in targeted program adjustments, key hires, and the implementation of impactful branding across the athletic complex.

Prior to her time at Greenwich, Angela was the Athletic Director at Mercy Academy where she was charged with the installation of a new turf field, remodeling gymnasiums, and upgrading locker rooms. She also held a leadership role at Walden School, where she rebuilt the girls’ athletic program and increased participation dramatically.

Earlier in her career,  Angela held two terms as Athletic Director at Assumption High School, where she supervised over 60 coaches across 14 varsity sports and oversaw the development and ongoing management of a multi-campus athletic program. During her tenure, the school secured numerous state titles, launched a Hall of Fame, and initiated the highly successful Pink and White Football fundraiser.

Angela’s career is marked by a deep commitment to empowering student-athletes, building strong athletic cultures, and mentoring future athletic leaders. She is a past recipient of the Kentucky Athletic Director of the Year award and is known for her innovative, community-centered approach to program leadership. She holds an B.S. in Sports Administration from the University of Louisville and currently resides in Kentucky.
