Anya Peterson is the Senior Recruitment Coordinator at Carney, Sandoe & Associates, where she supports the work of the Placement Team and helps streamline operations across the hiring process. She brings a thoughtful, strategic approach to her work—building strong relationships with both candidates and schools to ensure a smooth, personalized recruitment experience. Anya plays a key role in supporting searches across a range of practice areas.

Prior to her role at Carney Sandoe, she worked at Scandit, where she partnered with international teams to shape interview processes, drive inclusive hiring through a DEIB initiative, and lead recruitment for technical roles across multiple regions. She also spent time at Facebook Boston, where she helped build a strong office community during a time of rapid growth – leading employee onboarding tours, and playing a key role in internal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Anya has a degree in English Communications from Emmanuel College. Originally from the coastal town of Nahant, Massachusetts, Anya grew up sailing and playing tennis—activities that fostered her curiosity, discipline, and love for connection.
