Rowing is a particular passion for Art who coached the sport at Georgetown University and George Washington University, as well as at several prep schools, for 20 years. He has walked the Camino de Santiago twice and done two solo bike treks – one transcontinental and one along the Pacific coast of the U.S. Art has chronicled some of his adventure travel in “Holidays in a War Zone.” In his spare time, he crafts Tiffany-design stained glass lampshades and tries to crank out a million meters a year on his Concept2 rowing erg.
