Beth Dietz is a Consultant for the firm’s Academic Leadership and Head of School Practices, as well as our Catholic Schools Practice. Over the past 14 years, she has focused exclusively on head of school and senior administrative searches at independent day schools, boarding schools, Catholic schools, and specialized schools across the country.

Beth’s past searches include head of school and founding head placements at Bishop Fenwick High School (MA), Catholic Memorial (MA), School Year Abroad (MA), Nativity (CA), Swift School (GA), St. Jean Baptiste High School (NY), Middlesex School (MA), Wellington School (OH), and Atlanta Speech School (GA); division head searches at Riverdale Country School (NY), Ensworth School (TN), Sacred Heart Greenwich (CT), Palm Beach Day Academy (FL), Jackson Hole Community School (WY), Trinity Valley School (TX), Kent Denver School (CO), and Savannah Country Day School (GA); and senior administrator searches at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (MD) and Deerfield Academy (MA).

Beth has a genuine interest in getting to know the schools she partners with and the leaders she pursues and makes connections that last well beyond the search. She is a relentless recruiter with twenty years of experience. Beth started with our Placement Group in 2006, where she facilitated hundreds of successful placements and began cultivating the deep relationships with school leaders and boards that define her practice today.

Beth is a graduate of Middlesex School (Concord, MA) and Middlebury College, where she earned a B.A. in Art History and competed on the varsity women’s squash and lacrosse teams, contributing to two National Championship squads.

Outside of work, Beth is deeply rooted in her community. She coaches and serves on the board of Weston Youth Lacrosse and spent eight years volunteering with Boston’s Urban Improv Mentoring Program. She enjoys skiing and hiking in the White Mountains, staying competitive on the tennis court, and above all, time with her husband and four children.
