With nearly two decades of experience in independent schools and a deep foundation in executive coaching, Katie partners with school leaders to build resilient teams, develop exceptional faculty, and create environments where students and educators can flourish. Her work is grounded in the belief that leadership is most effective when it amplifies individual strengths while fostering collaboration, belonging, and sustained organizational excellence.

Katie currently coaches school leaders, leadership teams, nonprofit organizations, and Fortune 500 executives using strengths-based and neuroscience-informed approaches to leadership development. A dual-certified executive coach through the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute and Gallup CliftonStrengths, she facilitates leadership retreats and workshops focused on communication, conflict management, team effectiveness, and resilient leadership. Her clients consistently report increased confidence, clarity, and effectiveness in their leadership roles.

Prior to launching her coaching practice, Katie served as Upper Division Director at St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s in New York City, where she successfully led the school through the unprecedented challenges of reopening during the COVID-19 pandemic while strengthening faculty collaboration, redesigning evaluation systems, and advancing innovative academic programming. Previously, as Head of Lower School at The Kew-Forest School, she led transformational initiatives that increased enrollment, significantly reduced student attrition, expanded student support services, and implemented inquiry-based, project-centered curriculum.  Her leadership journey began in the classroom, where she developed a strong foundation as an educator at The Brearley School (NY) and The Meadowbrook School of Weston (MA).

Katie holds a Master of Education in School Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College. She has continued to expand her leadership expertise through Harvard’s Certificate in School Management and Leadership, the NAIS E.E. Ford Fellowship for Aspiring School Heads, Montessori administrator training, and numerous executive coaching certifications. An active contributor to the independent school community, Katie serves on accreditation visiting committees, presents at professional conferences, and remains deeply committed to supporting current and aspiring school leaders as they build healthy, mission-driven school communities.
