Rebecca Stern is a Placement Associate at Carney, Sandoe & Associates, where she leads recruitment efforts for History and Social Studies educators across top-tier independent schools. Prior to stepping into her current role, Becca served as a Placement Counselor Team Leader, collaborating with CS&A leadership and other Placement Counselors to implement strategic initiatives. Throughout her tenure at CS&A, Becca has led or assisted on a variety of searches, including those in History, English, Performing Arts, and Elementary Education.

Becca’s journey with CS&A began as a History candidate. While student teaching in a local 9th grade classroom, she utilized CS&A’s services to secure a position at an independent school. During her onboarding call, she learned more about the role of an Associate at CS&A, and fortunately, the company was hiring. She joined the team shortly after and has been with CS&A ever since.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and History, with a minor in Economics, from Bowdoin College. She was also a four-year varsity diver at Bowdoin, earning multiple NESCAC honors and serving as team captain during her senior year. Becca has been a member of CS&A since 2019.
