Before joining CS&A, Rhonda served for 12 years as Executive Director of the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS), one of the nation’s leading regional independent school associations. ISAS serves member schools across six states and supports over 100,000 students through accreditation, professional development, and school improvement initiatives. As Executive Director, Rhonda led the association’s accreditation program, directed professional learning for heads of school, trustees, administrators, and faculty, and advised member schools on accreditation, governance, and institutional leadership. During her tenure, she chaired the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Commission on Accreditation and served as founding Chair of the International Council Advancing Independent School Accreditation (ICAISA), helping advance accreditation practices nationally and internationally.
Prior to ISAS, Rhonda served as Head of School at Trinity School in Midland, Texas, an independent PK–12 school. Earlier in her career, she served in a variety of independent school roles, including Director of Admission, Development Director, teacher, and trustee. Before entering school leadership, she spent ten years as co-manager of an investment limited partnership, gaining valuable experience in finance, strategic planning, and organizational management.
