Rice Bryan joined Carney, Sandoe & Associates in 1999 and has served as Director of Internal Hiring since 2001.

Prior to joining CS&A, Rice taught English, coached soccer and tennis, and served as Ninth Grade Dean at Chestnut Hill Academy (PA). He also taught English, coached soccer, ski racing, and baseball, and was a dorm parent at Eaglebrook School in Deerfield, MA. Earlier in his career, he worked as a childcare worker at the Charlton School for Girls as part of his undergraduate social work studies. He has also worked as a tennis professional at The Bridges Resort (VT), Windridge Tennis Camps (VT), and Quail Ridge Inn (NM).

A graduate of Holderness School, Rice earned a B.A. in English with a concentration in creative writing and a minor in social work from Skidmore College. He completed additional studies at the University of Pennsylvania and is a published poet (Blind Man’s Rainbow, Erie, PA).
