What is a Hiring Conference?
Each winter and spring, Carney Sandoe hosts a series of faculty and staff recruitment conferences in cities across the country.

Hiring conferences connect job-seeking candidates with hiring representatives from a variety of K-12 schools. Hiring conferences are FREE for current candidates!
Hiring conferences typically span one or two days and feature a series of pre-scheduled, 30-minute introductory interviews between schools and registered Carney Sandoe candidates. Participating schools can review the pool of candidates in advance and schedule interviews with those whose qualifications align with their hiring needs. Likewise, candidates have the opportunity to browse registered schools, explore open positions, and send messages of interest directly to schools. Even after the event concludes, schools retain access to the candidate database and may continue reaching out to potential hires, extending the value of the conference well beyond the scheduled days.

What happens at a conference?
Simply put, hiring conferences are opportunities for candidates and schools to connect in pre-scheduled 30-minute interviews. Schools can interview multiple qualified candidates quickly and efficiently, and job seekers get the similar benefit of being able to meet with many different hiring schools.
Conferences are a great way for educators and administrators to network with different types of schools, hone their interview skills, and meet one-on-one with their Placement Associate. Most events also feature some type of presentation on topics such as interview tips and resume writing. Larger events, such as FORUM/Philadelphia, feature robust professional development opportunities for those in attendance.
Who can attend a conference and how much does it cost?
