CS&A assisted me in my job search over the course of two years. In my first year, I didn't land any positions that I was looking for, but I did reach the final round of a dream job. They then helped me search throughout another school year, and I was able to find an even better position in the exact region of the country that I wanted to move. When the pandemic cancelled their hiring conferences, they switched to a virtual hiring conference where I had the chance to interview with schools across the country in my own home. They have been professional and supportive, even sending gentle reminders when I took a bit too long to respond to interview requests. I only had two years' experience when they took me on, and I'm really grateful for their help. (shoutout to Maddie for always being helpful and responsive!)
Hi Dev and John,
I recently landed a music teaching job with Carney Sandoe's help. I'm writing to offer some kind words about my placement associate, Liam Gluck. A few weeks ago, I received an offer from a school that didn't excite me very much. A few days later, Liam reached out to me and invited me to give him a call. During our 40-minute phone conversation, Liam validated my concerns and offered a fresh perspective on the position; his candor was supportive, and he quelled lots of my anxieties, many of which were be attributed to being in the early stages of my career. He clearly heard me out and framed my thinking in a new way that was free of pressure and discomfort. It felt like I was talking to a friend or someone who had an authentic investment in my well being… and this was only our second phone conversation ever! I wrapped-up the conversation with him and actually felt much better about accepting the job, and on top of that, I felt more optimistic about my capital-c Career more generally.
Many thanks for all the help.
Dear Courtney and Jake,
On Monday I signed my contract. I am beyond excited to start the next phase of my career at exactly the kind of school I was looking for!
You both made this possible. I appreciate all of the support and guidance (and patience) you provided me over the past few months, especially during what I hope will have been the most difficult hiring season of our lives. I wish you all the best over the coming months. Know that I will continue to refer my fellow private school job seekers to CS&A!

My name is Vahe Oksazian. I Just graduated with a master’s in history, a returning student with 20 plus years of work experience in addition to my degree. I wanted to commend you on the webinar “Navigating a Job Search in a Pandemic Market.” This was extremely helpful; your energy level and positive attitude are both amazing and inspirational, especially given the current circumstances with the pandemic. I’m going to also tell Alex and LeeAnn, my Placement Associates. Although it’s a crazy time and I haven’t received any interview requests, I realize that just having this experience through all the blogs, webinars, interview prep, and demo lesson plans I have come up with have been truly amazing and helpful. Hopefully someone will request an interview with me at some point, but if they don’t, I’m happy to have participated in these instructional tutorials.
Thanks again for all the great advice.
I had an exceptional experience with Carney, Sandoe & Associates. I worked with Alex McLean and LeeAnn Parker to find a great fit in a boarding school. I started my career in education, transitioned into corporate business after completing my M.B.A., and worked with CS&A to career switch back into education. I couldn't have asked for a more helpful, thorough, and expansive experience. I was able to engage and learn about a vast number of schools and it was evident that having the Carney Sandoe brand behind my application was to my advantage. I accepted an AP US History position with a school that fits jut about every one of my preferences and I am excited to get back into the education industry. Thank you Carney Sandoe!
Courtney, I can't thank you enough for all that you have done for me. You always sent positions you'd know I'd be interested in, and the CS&A portal has been an excellent experience all round. Throughout my educational career, I have always partnered with CS&A in my job search; it's an outstanding organization that truly supports independent schools and their educators. I would very much recommend CS&A, and have always done to other colleagues.
Hats off to all of you, Courtney. My very best to Jake as well; he was incredibly helpful and supportive this year.
I am headed to my new school— it’s exciting and sad all at the same time. On a more personal note, thanks for all the support and work over the past year. (I really can’t believe it’s been a year since we started speaking.) Even though CS&A didn’t actually facilitate this particular role for me, I want you to know that your professionalism, patience, and encouragement was incredible. I am a firm believer in Carney Sandoe. Thanks again!
Thank you for all your help in forwarding me jobs throughout the past two years. I'm truly grateful for your help and patience throughout this process. And I'd highly recommend CS&A to any friends, based on my experience. Thanks again!
I am incredibly grateful for the help I've received from Carney, Sandoe, & Associates. My team Alex McLean and LeeAnn Parker found great schools that matched my teaching philosophy. Their dedication towards helping me build my career certainly stands as a testament to what CS&A has to offer. I'll miss working with them as well as the excitement that is associated with looking towards a new start, a new benchmark in my career as an educator. I have happily accepted a job as an English teacher. Again, I can cannot thank Alex and LeeAnn enough for their help. They made the search process far less nerve-wracking than usual. I certainly recommend CS&A to any educator looking for a new role.
Carney, Sandoe & Associates is an ideal job placement agency for candidates with post-graduate degrees looking to make a transition from higher education to secondary schools. CS&A and I worked together to make my background as a university-level teaching assistant marketable to hiring committees for high schools. After soliciting the help of this company, I immediately started interviewing for history teaching positions.
Dear Mr. McClatchey,
I have been a CS&A candidate since 2007 when one of my professors introduced CS&A to his doctoral students as a reputable search firm for independent school positions. For over 12 years now, your firm has helped me successfully and satisfactorily land every position I have pursued thus far. As an international student coming to the U.S. for her post-graduate education, I had never imagined having a successful career in the independent school world. However, your firm opened up a new world to me in which I have not only had a rewarding experience as an educator, I have also been advancing towards my professional aspirations. I am grateful and fortunate that I found CS&A, a competent and well-run organization benefiting both the candidates and schools with whom they work. Every staff member I have interacted with has shown genuine interest in and patience with helping me locate the most suitable positions available. I have consistently been impressed with their warmth, professionalism, and care.
Today I would like to share my special thanks to Scott Roy. Words cannot describe my gratitude for all of the guidance, support, and mentoring he has offered me the past few years as I navigated the independent school world searching for and finding the right opportunities where I could not only bring value to the schools, but also develop a solid resume for my long-term career goals.
I very much appreciate Scott’s approach. He started with asking me targeted questions to evaluate my skill set and experience and to know my aspirations. I believe his approach not only ensures the best candidates for the school, but also bolsters candidates’ confidence through every step of the interview process, which can be daunting and stress-ridden. Scott is also a great listener and has a deep understanding of what kind of guidance I needed to best demonstrate my abilities and advance my career, the kind of abilities people with a high level of cognitive and emotional empathy possess. He mentored me with his expertise, care, and insightful advice. I have never felt even the slightest judgment from him despite the numerous phone conversations and email communications we have had together. The job search process is often a time-consuming and unappealing task people undertake for various reasons. Scott, with his very personable yet focused approach, turned it into a joyful learning journey for me through which I feel I have significantly evolved both professionally and personally.
Last but not least, as a woman in technology, I am particularly grateful that CS&A is committed to supporting women in their pursuit of leadership roles. Scott is definitely a champion of it. It is widely known that often times women doubt their abilities even though they are very capable. As someone who is in the process of developing her leadership skills, I have to admit that I do that too. I feel fortunate that Scott provided me the appropriate scaffolding to help me breakthrough that barrier–perhaps forever!
With sincere gratitude,
I’m writing to thank you for your help with my colleague and his recent appointment as a first-time division head. You may recall that I worked closely with him and supported his desire to move into this new role. He let me know how much he appreciated working with you, your candor, your confidentiality, and your follow through. He felt he was treated with respect the entire way. Just wanted to send a reminder that not only are you helping people find the “next step” in their career, but you are doing so in a personal and empathetic manner. Thanks for the guidance and care you provided him.
I am truly appreciative of all the leads you have ever given me. I've been on a number of interviews as a result of your referrals and have appreciated the range of opportunities. I am grateful for CS&A's confidentiality throughout all of this, as well as the consistent service I have been given. Thanks again for the journey and I believe the school where I have landed will be an excellent fit.
CS&A was helpful, professional, and timely in their communication. I was having trouble receiving interest from potential employers when I would cold-email their HR department, and used CS&A at a recommendation from a work associate. After an introductory phone call with Beth McArdle (my Placement Associate) and uploading my resume to my CS&A portal, I had gone from receiving about 1 total email communications with hiring schools each week, to receiving 3-4 each day. It was amazing! Beth, who was in charge of my case, did a fantastic job getting word out to schools regarding my candidacy for teaching positions, and would respond to my questions regarding the application process almost instantly. I can't believe this service is free for job-seekers! I have already recommended CS&A's services to friends, and would certainly work with them again. They almost have insider information when it comes to school hirings, and do a fantastic job connecting employers to potential employees. I would give 6 out of 5 stars to Beth and the way CS&A handled my case as a client!
Thank you so much!
Honestly the full story of how I came to CS&A is that one day I happened to meet a private school teacher who uses your agency every time he looks for a job. I said I was a substitute teacher trying to get into the private world, and he immediately told me to go to CS&A. He talked all about your international contacts and how it was the way to go. I’d already gotten fed up with trying to apply on my own. I frantically wrote down CS&A's name, and that was it. A few days later I had been emailed by you and LeeAnn and it all worked out. I would never have even heard of Kiski without you. It was meant to be. You are part of a tremendous organization and I cannot thank you enough for your part in things! Keep up the good work, I am so happy right now.
Dear Mr. McClatchey,
My name is Damon Harvey, and I have been a candidate with CS&A this past year searching for a music teacher position. Being in the job search can be challenging, but I'm thrilled with how mine turned out. I was offered a full-time band teaching position (I'm an instrumental specialist) at a great school in Georgia. Their school community and academic philosophy is perfect for me as a teacher and the location is perfect for my family.
Earning this position is a result of CS&A. I'm sincerely thankful for all you do. My Placement Counselor was Liam Gluck, and I was so impressed with his diligence and his care for me as a job seeker. Thanks to his feedback, communication, and regular referrals, I was able to keep my head up during this time. I am a sincere supporter of what you do. In my current role as a graduate teaching assistant, I often find myself telling the undergraduate students and even the faculty about your company and what you offer. It's difficult to believe that you give so much to candidates without charging them any money.
This is actually my second time with CS&A. My first job search, roughly 10 years ago, also concluded with a great outcome. I became the director of music ensembles, and it was my dream job for a starting position. Please accept my sincere thanks!
Again, it's not always fun to be in the job search, but I think teachers are in the best hands when they choose to work with CS&A. No doubt, if it were not for your company, I would still likely be searching right now. I wish you the best of luck in matching great candidates with great schools. I'll continue to recommend Carney, Sandoe & Associates to other job seekers.
Damon M. Harvey
I have accepted a position in Raleigh, NC. Thank you for taking time to send me referrals these past months. CS&A continues to be a top-notch organization that I happily share with colleagues.
Physical Education Candidate
As a former science (and psychology) major who has worked for 21+ years teaching at a test prep company, many years coaching track and field and cross country, and years doing research in my psychology Ph.D. program, I knew I wanted to work in education. However, I had many different skills and a lack of a clear idea of how to advance in the field of education.
Fortunately, I found Carney, Sandoe, & Associates, and even more fortunately, I was assigned to Todd Gochman as my Placement Associate. Todd has worked with me for several years trying to help me find the right position. He has been so personable, listening to my concerns and my desired career path. He has guided me without judgement, simply providing options and suggestions. He has made me feel incredibly comfortable so that I really wanted to make a position happen, not only for me, but also to make him proud.
A couple of years ago, I thought we found that position at a boarding school in England. Still, when that didn't work out, Todd welcomed me back with open arms to help me find another match. He listened to my every concern, even being understanding when I was questioning whether I wanted to even continue a career as a teacher.
At the CS&A hiring FORUM at the NAIS conference, I asked Todd to look out for positions mainly in Los Angeles, but also in San Diego, San Francisco, New York City, and Miami. Todd asked me to meet with some schools in other areas, such as Seattle. I hadn't even considered Seattle, but I trusted Todd. Thus, I was open to meeting with any schools he suggested.
Fast forward to last week when I signed a contract with a fantastic school in Seattle! I really loved my visit with them and enjoyed everyone I met. The contract matched my interests, so I'm now going to be that school’s newest science teacher. I am extremely grateful to Todd for his amazing patience and support in working with me. You truly have a gem in Todd!
CS&A helped me apply to many jobs I wouldn't have found. It can get pretty tiring checking multiple websites to try and find positions. Also, I was given a contact person who knew a lot of the schools and where they are in their search. I really appreciate everything they did for me!
I felt very fortunate that I was able to visit the two schools on subsequent days. I was able to get a good sense of both schools' culture, vision, and where I was meant to be next year. I ended up receiving two offers and both for kindergarten! I cannot express enough how fortunate I feel to have received both of these referrals because of my work with Carney Sandoe. Furthermore, thank you for your guidance and help with this process! It is always lovely to chat with other dedicated working moms 🙂
I want to let you know that I have accepted the offer and my job search has ended. I ended up having several other offers ,but this one was the best. I am very happy with how it turned out and with the school I will be working at next year, so I wanted to thank you and Carney, Sandoe & Associates for everything you have done during my job search. It has been an honor working with you and I cannot thank you enough for everything.
Thank you for all your work during the last year and a half. This couldn't have happened without you, so I am very much obliged to you and CS&A. I hope we can keep in touch from time to time, but I also hope my need for your services is finished as I feel this school will be a really good fit for me and for my family. I will continue to sing the praises of CS&A and of you, particularly to my colleagues.
Thank you again and my truest regards,
I accepted the position today! I just want to thank you for all of your help through this entire process. A lot of times, people say that they couldn't have done something without a certain person, but this is one of those moments when it is undeniably true. You and CS&A have been instrumental in my search and success, and I really can't thank you enough!
Dear Courtney and Sloane,
I am happy to let you know that I just signed the contract for the Spanish teacher position. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for the valuable assistance you provided me during my interview process. The information you provided me regarding the school climate, the position requirements, and your interviewing process were invaluable in preparing me both for my initial interview and for my subsequent interviews. I truly appreciate the time you spent to help me prepare for my interviews and helping me find my dream job.
I have just finished my job search in North Carolina and I have officially accepted a position. I wanted to reach out because Beth McArdle was so helpful in this process. I felt that she was my friend and she made me feel so comfortable to ask any questions I had. She made time to speak to me on the phone on multiple occasions and calmed me down when I was very stressed out. On Thursday night, I got an opportunity that needed a quick response, and I didn't know what to do. Beth responded to me, even though I emailed after hours, and really helped me to think through my choices.
I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and I hope to use CS&A again in the future! I will certainly recommend CS&A to all of my friends.
As this year comes to a close I reflect on all that I am thankful for in 2018. I cannot personally thank you enough for your guidance and advice this past year during my job search. Carney Sandoe was beyond helpful throughout this time. I never imagined my career transition would bring me back to Memphis, but I am so grateful that it did! I am now working as an Advancement Assistant and the past five months have been incredibly enjoyable and such a wonderful learning experience. In embarking on a career change within the school setting, I certainly relied on your insight and expertise and I want to thank you again for taking the time to provide me with such valuable input. I hope that our paths cross in the near future.
With sincere gratitude,
I just wanted to reach out and thank you for all of the help you gave me throughout my time using Carney Sandoe this year! I truly appreciate everything you have done, and can't wait to start in my new position.
The school we were discussing made me an offer for a job in their English department! I told them I intend to accept the offer, and I’m going into the school sometime this week to sign the contract. Thank you so much for all your hard work on behalf of my candidacy. I appreciate the detail-oriented, thoughtful, and thorough job you and Liam do to help candidates find the right fit. I would truly not know how to begin without Carney Sandoe, and I’m thrilled to share the good news with you.
All the best,
The school mailed the offer letter the other day! Thank you again for all your help. You have helped so much two years in a row. The position is just what I have been looking for for a long time. It involves a long-term plan for middle schoolers to get to where they need to be by 8th grade. The other members of the Learning Support Department are so talented and I will learn a lot.
Thank you, thank you, thank you,
Alan E. Caro, MSW
Special Education Candidate
Hello Elizabeth and Katie,
I am happy to report that I accepted a job we discussed teaching first grade. I never thought it would materialize, but it is basically a dream job, and I am super excited! The school wasn’t even on my family’s radar when I was at the FORUM/Boston hiring conference, but I decided to stop by their table and say hello because I have always wanted to move out west to the mountains. Sure enough, I had a great conversation with the head and the process snowballed from there. Thanks a million for all of your insight, advice, referrals, and follow-ups. I really appreciate it and was also given two other excellent offers. However, this school won my heart and ended up being my top choice.
Take care and perhaps our paths will cross again in the future!
I wanted to wait until I had made my decision before sending you an e-mail. I was offered jobs at two schools for next year! Both came in within 24 hours of each other on Monday and Tuesday. My husband and I sat down and made a huge pros and cons list and then made the choice!! I sent in my contract this morning and am so excited!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you've done getting me contacts and connecting me with schools on what has now been my third foray with Carney Sandoe. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your help and assistance though all of this as I move around teaching. I hope to be locked in for a while now and not need help for a very long time. This feels right and like a weight has been lifted. ¡Muchísimas gracias!
I have been a candidate in visual arts and worked with Sloane Meyer for the past year. Sloane has been an indispensable help in the job hiring process. Her knowledge of schools, systems, and general logistics of all things regarding the job hunt has been incredibly helpful. Sloane is very easy to talk to and approachable, which was also a great asset. She always answered emails promptly and with clarity, which was especially helpful when discussing interviews and contracts. Sloane gave me great advice when I was in a difficult situation and making a decision between two schools.
Visual Arts Candidate
Dear Jamie and Courtney,
Thank you! I am very excited to start this new position in the fall. I know I was very vague about what I was looking for during my search, but you sent me many schools to choose from and expanded my search to schools I would not necessarily have thought of applying to. You both did a wonderful job, because this is the school I was looking for!
I wanted to let you know that Ben and Sloane were crucial to my job search this past year. I always found them nothing less than professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I’ve worked with Ben on and off for several years and enjoyed each experience. While just meeting Sloane this past year, I also enjoyed getting to know her and the insight she was able to bring to the process. They truly helped me feel better about what can be a stressful process and made me feel that I was properly prepared for every meeting I had with a school. At no point did I feel like I was just one amongst the many, many candidates I’m sure they’re working with; I always got the attention I wanted, right up to the end when I was negotiating salary and accepting the offer.
College Counseling Candidate
I just spent the day at the school we discussed and LOVED it. So I signed a contract and will start in August. Thank you so much for three years of loyal and tireless effort on my behalf. I appreciate it more than words can say, and I am so thrilled that my search has brought me to this end.
School Counselor Candidate
Thank you so much, Sloane! Your quality advice really helped me in the interview today. About halfway through the interview, the Headmaster said that they were offering me the position. I am over the moon and feel so lucky to have found a school that is so aligned with my values and my philosophy around working with young people. Thank you so much for sending me this referral and for all your support and guidance in this process. You have been a solid and reliable force for good in this job search process and I will be forever grateful that you connected me to the school of my dreams!
Many, many thanks Sloane!
Studio Art Candidate
Thank you so much for taking me into your pool and working with me on possibilities for next year. I really appreciate the care you took in the process and the thoughtfulness of your choices for me. I was supported and inspired by your insight and acumen–it actually taught me a lot about myself. In good news, I’ve accepted an offer from the school we were discussing! It’s not something I would have anticipated from the outset, but I see a lot of promise in the community, and my wife and I agreed that we want to give it a good try. We are going to be active in residential life, and I will be the Upper School Latin teacher. They’re also looking for opportunities for her. I’m so grateful for everything you and the CS&A team have done for me and I know this wouldn’t have been possible without your hard work. Thank you very, very much!
With sincere gratitude,
Dear Mr. McClatchey,
I just wanted to take a brief moment to say thank you to the Carney Sandoe team and in particular my representative, Liam Gluck. Over the past couple of months, I have been working with Liam and cannot say enough good things about him. He has recommended positions that were not only a good fit for me professionally but personally as well. Furthermore, I really appreciated his professional insight throughout the process, whether that be cover letter expertise or timely follow up messages with potential employers. In closing, I would look forward to working with Liam and Carney Sandoe again, if the opportunity were to present itself.
I wanted to reach out and thank you so much for all of your help through this hiring process. I really appreciated the individualized approach that you had. I felt like you knew me as a candidate and that you connected me to a school that was a perfect fit for me. I could not have asked for a better experience. I am beyond excited to begin my new position in July! I hope that I do not need to reach out for help with a job search for a long time, and I look forward to running into you at conferences and continuing to work with you in the future.
Residential Life Candidate
I just wanted to let you know that I just received an offer from my ideal school to teach Spanish. I have decided to accept this offer and conclude my job search. I want to offer you and your team my profound thanks for all that you have done for me in the last few weeks and for helping me navigate this challenging process. I learned about the position that I will be accepting through CS&A, so you guys have already had a remarkable affect on my future as a teacher. Thank you so much, and I will definitely recommend your services to my friends and colleagues.
All the best,
Courtney and Jamie,
Thank you both so very much! I'm grateful that I was able to attend FORUM/Diversity in Philadelphia and meet such a fantastic school. It really does seem like it'll be a great place to call home; I fell in love with the campus and its students, especially after visiting.
This will be the start to many great things to come; thank you for aiding me along in the process. I really wouldn't have even discovered the independent/boarding school realm of education if it weren't for the two of you and your unwavering persistence.
I absolutely can't wait to get started. Thanks again!
Foreign Language Candidate
Carney, Sandoe & Associates are always very professional and have helped many of my colleagues (and myself) secure great jobs that match our skill set. Everyone I know that has worked with them have positive reviews about their experiences. Their system of referrals with schools is a great system. They work with each candidate personally and are always there for support and guidance.
Thank you for all your help over the years with finding good positions for me at schools!
Art and Spanish Candidate
I want to convey my absolute satisfaction with Carney Sandoe and the opportunities you sent my way. Nearly all of the schools you sent along were well selected and I had some communication with several viable options. The school that hired me represents the best case scenario and a seemingly perfect match. I never felt this enthusiastic about a school placement during my previous three searches that I did on my own.
Dear Courtney and Jamie,
I just wanted to update you on a very positive update to my search. After your hiring conference in Boston, I was invited to visit campus and interview. I am very happy to report that I have been offered a position as a French teacher and have decided to pursue this position. Your professionalism and patience in my search, as well as your limitless assistance to my many queries, proved to be invaluable throughout the search process. To say that I enjoyed working with you both would be an understatement. Thank you.
Many thanks again.
Foreign Language Candidate
Dear Carney Sandoe and Courtney,
Just wanted to say thanks. I would have never found this amazing school without your help. What a quality school, all around. Super kids, parents, teachers, directors, and staff. I was searching from Madrid and you guys made the process doable and enjoyable. ¡Gracias!
MS/US Spanish Teacher
It has been awhile, but I wanted to take the time to say thank you again for your help in landing me the job! It's been wonderful so far, and I feel very lucky to be here! Teaching Latin & Classics is my life's “calling,” and it is a privilege to be able to teach here. In a very real way, I would not be here without your help, and I so appreciate the work that you and Carney Sandoe do!
All best wishes,
Thank you for sending my file and continuing to look out for me. I am writing to let you know that yesterday I signed a contract. I want you to know that from our first conversation to your quick responses to my queries, you have been first rate.
I am writing to express my thanks for the superb service provided by Carney Sandoe, and specifically to praise the Placement Counselor who worked directly with me, Liam Gluck, in placing me at my new school.
I conducted my first search through CS&A when I was a senior in college, and with your help I obtained positions teaching music at independent schools in Houston and in Nashville. This year I faced a new challenge: a family move to Chicago, and no immediate job prospects. Liam remained engaged, communicative, and supportive as I searched and waited. Then, in May, a Chicago school with a late-breaking music position reached out to me thanks to CS&A — it was a terrific fit, and in a few weeks I had accepted their offer to join the faculty.
I have always received excellent service from the associates at Carney Sandoe, and Liam brought some unique strengths this year. The knowledge that a former independent school music teacher was doing music placements was reassuring, and Liam displayed exactly the right type of contextual savvy in all of our interactions. He took the time to get to know my strengths and my priorities, and I felt that I had an advocate throughout the process. His positive attitude and proactive communication skills made me feel valued and supported.
I will certainly continue to recommend Carney Sandoe to friends and colleagues, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities that you have facilitated for me.
Dear Mr. McClatchey,
I'm a candidate working with Todd Gochman. I am writing to share with you my compliments for Todd's consistently outstanding service and patience this recruiting season. He has referred me to some very unique schools and I have appreciated the urgency with which he has responded to my emails over this time. Clearly, he's a very committed representative of CS&A and I already plan to recommend him to friends and colleagues who would benefit from his placement expertise.
Thank you for maintaining a high quality staff to service candidates, like myself.
Dear Jamie and Courtney,
Tomorrow I will accept an offer for the position of World Languages Chair at a school on the East Coast. The position, the school, and the faculty are a perfect fit for me.
What amazes me is that after all the searching (since October 2016!), they found me and reached out to me, because of you. Thank you so much for all of your attention, diligence, and patience with me throughout this search, and for all the work you do to match schools and candidates with the right fit.
World Languages Candidate
I wanted to let you know I signed with Orme School, a boarding school in central Arizona, and I am thrilled to be a member of this ranch community. I was contacted by the Headmaster who saw me listed with you. I want to thank you for all your help as I have been so pleased with the entire process.
My name is Alexandra Pacor and I was a candidate with Carney, Sandoe & Associates this year, working specifically with Sloane Meyer. I am emailing to thank you, Sloane, and the rest of the team at your company for your help in my job search.
Thanks to you all, I have recently accepted a fantastic position. When I applied to the same position through another service, my application was lost in the mix of others; however, I was able to get the first interview by applying through your service.
I hope my feedback can help you do as much good for others as you have for me.
I have just accepted the position. Thank you so much for your help and support these past few years. I have had many opportunities to speak with, and learn about, some amazing educators and schools. Carney Sandoe has been a true partner in my search and I could not have done it without you.
Thanks to Carney, Sandoe & Associates, I found a wonderful opportunity as an apprentice teacher. After graduating from George Washington University, I applied to CS&A and they helped me find my position. I currently co-teach Spanish with my mentor and over the course of the year I have gained hands-on experience in classroom management, lesson planning, curriculum development, and more. My school hired me as a full-time Spanish teacher upon my success as an apprentice. I have to say, this was all made possible by Carney Sandoe. They streamlined the process, provided valuable advice, and were invested in customizing their search to fit my interests and needs. I am happy and love what I am doing! I would use CS&A again and I recommend it to others!
I just wanted to share the great news that I accepted the offer on Friday. Thank you so incredibly much for your work on my behalf during this lengthy, stressful process. You've made my life remarkably easier, and I so appreciate your advocacy.
Dear Mr. McClatchey,
I just wanted to write and personally thank you for providing me with such an amazing support as I have been searching for school library positions this current hiring season due to sick family.
My CS&A contact has been Liam Gluck and he has been a constant support to me in locating positions, sending me referrals, and communicating with schools. I have enjoyed working with him immensely and have felt fully supported throughout this process. He always made himself available to answer questions via email or over the phone and I have appreciated his advice and professionalism every step of the way. So much so, that I felt moved to sing his praises via email to you!
I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week.
All the best,
Sloane and Ben,
I wanted to take a moment to inform you both that I have just recently accepted an offer to be a Teaching Fellow at the school we've been discussing for the upcoming year. I just want to thank both of you for playing such an active role throughout my search process–I couldn't have imagined going through all this without your guidance, so thank you very much. I really appreciate all the work that you've done on my behalf!
I am writing to thank you for your assistance in my search for employment as a Chinese language teacher. I was very happy and appreciative to learn that I was accepted for a Chinese language teacher position at Palm Beach Day Academy for the 2017-2018 school year. This employment opportunity would not have been possible without your help in connecting me with the administration there. I really appreciate your willingness and dedication to help wherever needed during the job search process.
I had a wonderful experience working with you and will recommend Carney, Sandoe & Associates to all of my classmates in the M.Ed. program at the University of Oklahoma. You are truly an asset at Carney, Sandoe & Associates and they are lucky to have you as a Placement Associate for Chinese language teachers.
Andrew J. Crane
Thanks again for all the career support. I'm the first person in my graduate program cohort to be offered a job and I feel so fortunate that you came to Amherst College/Mount Holyoke for info sessions this fall and that I could sign on with CS&A. Having peace of mind that I have my dream job waiting for me after grad school is amazing!
I am still so thrilled to have been offered the position! I signed the contract last week and will start next week. I could not be happier about this opportunity. It's closer to home, better hours, summers off, a significant increase, and most importantly, I get to primarily focus on my practice as a therapist — all great things. I will also be challenging myself in new professional ways by teaching two classes and coaching this spring.
I can't thank you enough, Jamie, for helping me find this opportunity. It really will be life changing for me and my family. And if all goes well, those interviews will be the last interviews I ever go through. I couldn't have done this without your help. My wife and I have had the most positive experiences with CS&A. I will surely refer others to CS&A in the future.
Hi Todd and LeeAnn,
Thank you so much for being a great resource! Before learning about Carney Sandoe, I had very little clue as to how to find a teaching opportunity. One of the schools you sent my materials to has turned out to be a great fit, so I'm excited to tell you that I'm accepting their offer! You have truly helped turn a dream into a reality, and for that I will always be very grateful.
All the best,
Dear Elizabeth and Emily,
I want to share with you some good news – I accepted the position! Of the three schools where I did on-campus interviews, it was my favorite. This fellowship is exactly what I need at this point of my career.
I am beyond excited and want to thank you two for everything you have done for me. For sending me all those referrals, for reading my personal statement, for being so quick to respond to my emails, and for working incredibly hard to host all those conferences! I hope everyone in the office has an incredible summer. Carney Sandoe rocks; I would have never been granted this amazing opportunity without you all.
Hi Elizabeth and Emily,
Thanks for the email. I am pleased to tell you that I have accepted an offer at the school we were discussing and will be starting there in August. Thank you so much for all your help. I would never have known about this position without Carney Sandoe. The forum in April was particularly crucial to my meeting the head of school and making an impression. Thanks again!

Dear Mr. McClatchey,
I first heard of Carney, Sandoe, & Associates by word of mouth, and more precisely when I was still working in Italy. Most of my (then) students were adults from US, and they spread the word about this great association that helps teachers find the job best meeting their expectations in America. I therefore applied, and I was given the most detailed and professional interview I have ever had. Eventually I decided to join one of CS&A hiring events in New York, and the only interview I had led to my first job in US. I had been planning to move to US for a while, but I did not want to leave my job in Italy before finding a new one in United States.
Which is why I am spreading the word myself about CS&A, because I would really not be doing what I am doing right now without this one connection. Thank you very much again for your help and your support!
With my best regards
We can't express our gratitude to you…in just a few words. We've both been beyond impressed at what Carney, Sandoe & Associates have to offer candidates . Just to let you know, we've just referred some excellent teachers to CS&A for next year when they, like us, are looking to return to North America.
Warmest regards from warm Dubai,
Thanks so much Jamie! I am thrilled . It has been a pleasure working with you as well–none of this would have happened if you hadn't been so proactive about reaching out to the school ASAP after our first discussion. You had a good eye for a perfect match of school and applicant. 🙂 Thanks again for everything, let me know if you need anything else from me as well!
Hello Jamie and Courtney,
I'm happy to say I've just accepted an offer to teach Spanish at the school you referred me to. I just wanted to thank you for your hard work these past few months. You've been a huge help to me in my first real job search and I honestly can't believe that your services are free because they're very high quality. Thanks again!
Thanks for this email. It does make me feel pretty good that I found a school that I feel holds many of my same values about education. And I have you guys/gals to thank wholeheartedly. Couldn't have done it without you.
I wanted to inform you that I signed a teaching contract for the 2016-17 academic year with the school we had been discussing in Los Gatos, CA.
Thank you for all of your assistance and follow up regarding my career search this past year. I truly appreciate all of your guidance. I would be glad to share my positive experience working with your firm with others in the future.
Again, thank you for all of your helping with my success teaching placement search.
This email is to let you know that I have received and accepted a job offer. Although I did not reach out to this particular institution through Carney, Sandoe & Associates, I cannot begin to tell you how helpful your company has been for my job search. Almost since the moment I uploaded my materials I have been receiving invitations to interview with great schools, and by the time I received the offer I was already at the final stage of two processes; this is a lot considering that I am a nonresident alien and need a sponsor. To sum up, you do your work really well and I would love to join your pool of candidates again some day!
Best of luck,
Alberto López Martín
I am so excited to share with you that I accepted the position yesterday! It is one of the schools that you sent my referrals to.
I thank you VERY MUCH for all your continuous efforts and hard work in supporting me in the recruiting process… Courtney, you are a PRO!
Thank you, thank you!!! I recommend CS&A services any time the opportunity arises…I am so glad a colleague shared the link with me.
My very best to you.
Thanks so much for supporting me in so many different ways. My search with Carney Sandoe allowed me to learn so much about how schools operate and what they want. I doubt I would have this job if it wasn't for you.
Dear Mr. McClatchey,
This is a very quick note to let you know that as a first-time attendee of your Boston Forum, I found it to be exciting, positive, and very useful. I also wanted to specifically highlight the work of Beth McArdle, who organized a panel discussion. She did a fantastic job (as I am sure you know) leading the discussion. I learned a great deal from her that day!
I am writing to let you know that David and I have accepted jobs at two amazing schools. We are extremely happy with the result and would like to thank you for everything you have done. You run an exceptional service and I have informed my colleagues that they should be using you if they plan to move to the states.
All the best,
I just wanted to let you know that I accepted a job yesterday at my top school. Thank you again for all of your work. I am really impressed by the Carney Sandoe organization. You guys were so helpful during this process of helping me find good schools. I can't thank you enough for your time and professionalism. I have been highly recommending you to my friends.
Elizabeth and Emily,
I wanted to share some exciting news! I recently accepted a teaching position at the school you referred me to in Bangkok, Thailand. I will be starting work on July 18th, 2016.
Thank you so much for an incredible experience. You both gave me amazing options for international positions and I am so excited to be going abroad and taking my career to the next level.
It has really been my pleasure and I hope to stay in touch as I would love to work with you all again when looking for my next international placement!
After spending nine years as a school administrator at a world-class international school, it was time for my family and me to make the leap and find another wonderful experience somewhere in the world. As you can imagine, having to give up an amazing job and venture into the world of the unknown is scary. Working with Art Charles and John Chandler was really what got me though the ups and downs of the job search. They were attentive, supportive, and encouraging, but they were also real. They were an advocate when I needed one and people I could call on for advice. My wife and I joked how long it would take them to respond to an email. The answer, over the run of five months, was an average wait time of about 15 minutes before we received a response!
These are knowledgeable professionals who understand the needs of schools and of schools administration. They are kind, compassionate, and have blown me away with their level of service and professionalism. CS&A has made a name for itself internationally and worldwide because they hire people like this. I am very grateful for their time, efforts, and focus on making sure the “fit” was right for me, but for the school as well. They are more than finding a school administrator, they are more focused on finding one that will be happy and one that the school will be happy with in order to create a relationship that will work for an entire school community. I could not be more positive about my experience with them and with CS&A.
John and All,
I couldn't be happier. A match was made that fits and feels right. You all played such an instrumental role in this process, which contributed to my sense of calm and sense of confidence.
It has been a privilege to work with you. Know that I have sung your praises since our first phone call. You are setting the bar for the international community. We thank you.
With great gratitude,
It's such a coincidence that you contacted me today. I just came out of an interview that was a referral from you guys and I got the job!!!! I start tomorrow. I'm so amazed and speechless, but I sincerely thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. You guys are awesome. Please give Margaux my thanks as well.
I have signed my contact and everything is now official. I already told you this, but I can't thank you enough for all of your help. You and Ada were crucial in finding me my dream job. The Assistant Head of School credits you for facilitating the match. He said you highly suggested that he at least give me a call.
Thank you so much,
Dear Courtney and Ada,
I am delighted to tell you that my interview went really well. I was offered a full time position there for the 2015-2016 academic year and I accepted it. I can't believe how much both of you have been efficient and helpful to allow me to find the right place for me. Thank you very much for your help and efforts. I will not hesitate to recommend Carney, Sandoe and Associates to skilled French instructors who are looking for a teaching position.
Again, thank you for your help. Best regards,
I wanted to send a quick note under separate cover to thank you for your assistance in obtaining my CFO position. Your responsiveness was greatly appreciated as well as your ability to step in when needed to assist in the process. In addition, I want to also thank you for the way you handled the last few steps so that things could move forward more smoothly and expeditiously. Carney Sandoe is fortunate to have you indeed!
Hi Elizabeth –
Wanted to let you know I got an amazing offer today for the Kindergarten position you referred me to and have accepted and will be signing and submitting my contract tomorrow!!
Thank you SO much for all your help during this process, I am so glad I found you all and have had you guiding me through the independent school application and interview process. I am so excited to work at this amazing school, and I have you and CS&A to thank for that!!!
Thanks so much,
I have just accepted a position as a First and Second Grade teacher at a school you referred me to. Thank you so much for your support and help during my job search.
I really appreciate the advice, referrals, experience, and thoughtfulness that CS&A brings to the process of finding a good fit between schools and candidates. I will definitely recommend CS&A to colleagues and look forward to maintaining a relationship with you in future job searches.
Have a great day.
I just wanted to write and say thank you so much for your help with my job search. I have been having so many interviews! I will recommend you to every physics teacher I know that is looking for work and make sure and leave note with my advisor to recommend you to future students.
I just wanted to send a quick note now that my search has come to an end to say how grateful I am of both Scott and Carney Sandoe. I have been using Carney Sandoe ever since I found out about them close to six years ago now. All throughout that time both Scott and Carney Sandoe have been supportive and full of information about finding a new job.
Finding a new job is never an easy task and can be filled with a lot of stress. Scott has been a class A stress reducer when it comes to job searching. He has always been available to answer my questions. He has consistently followed up with me to make sure that I am doing well with my search. He also does a great job at making sure that I see all my options. I was going for a specific position this time around but I was appreciative that Scott provided a lot of other opportunities simply because getting the position I wanted was not guaranteed.
Overall, I just wanted to send this note to say I am extremely happy to have Scott on my side when it comes to finding a new position. He truly makes a very hard task seem very easy and I know it is because of a lot of hard work on his end.
Thank you both to Carney Sandoe and also to Scott! I now get to look forward to my new position at a great school.
Wanted to let you know that I'm all set with a fantastic job. Our discussions yielded great results, and next year, I'll be the Director of Personalized Learning. I'm happy, my wife is happy, and my kid will have a great place to grow up. Thanks for all your help along the way. The experience with CSA, under your personal care, was professional, easy to manage, and proved to be just what I needed to find a job in a place I might not have otherwise considered.
All the best,
I am currently an assistant principal at an American International School in Venezuela, but I was recently offered a principalship at a private school in the US, in Phoenix, Arizona thanks to the outstanding support of Carney, Sandoe & Associates.
In particular I am writing to express my sincere thanks to John Faubert for his assistance during this process. As a candidate for my first principalship, I knew there would be hurdles along the way, and that some schools would have a hard time hiring a first-time principal. Even so, after several ‘rejections', I do have to admit I was beginning to feel a little unsure of my decision. John took several opportunities to Skype with me to discuss my leadership style and experiences in order to help me find the right fit. His guidance and confidence in my ability to secure a principalship truly kept me going. As I mentioned, he took the time to understand my style, and my strengths, in order to steer me towards schools that would be a good match. In the end, I secured a position at a school that matched my professional philosophy perfectly.
I couldn't have asked for a better support system. I will always be grateful for John's help, encouragement, and understanding over all of these months. From the bottom of my heart, and from my family, thank you!
I had a successful interview/campus visit yesterday. They offered me a position as a French teacher. I am writing to let you know that I accepted their offer. Therefore, I am ending my job search as of today. I want to thank you for being such a wonderful placement team. I don't think I could have found my ideal school without your help.
I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for meeting with me this morning. I really enjoyed talking with you. It was quite refreshing to have an interview with such a friendly individual. I think your disposition speaks greatly to the nature of what Carney Sandoe does; that is, being a friendly guide in the scary world of job searching.
Thank you for all your effort in helping me find a position in the last couple of months. I want to thank you for all your help during my job search, and to let you know that the service you guys offer is amazing. I will be recommending your services to all my colleagues searching for a job in the field in the future. I appreciate all you guys do to help us teachers find jobs nation-wide in excellent schools.
Thank you very much for everything.
I wanted to thank you for all of your hard work and kindness in helping me to find a post, and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Your level of service has been unparalleled and I truly appreciate what you do.
I have accepted an offer to teach in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I'll be conducting the college band, teaching brass and percussion methods, and teaching music education methods courses. I am excited about working with students, and especially working with future educators.
I want to thank you and Carney, Sandoe for the many job referrals you facilitated on my behalf. I have truly appreciated your kind assistance with my recent job search. Your service and communication combine to make an extremely helpful and efficient tool in the truly daunting process of looking for a job!
I will be sure to keep Carney, Sandoe and Associates in mind should I need to conduct a new job search in the future.
I wanted to let you know that I was offered the job in New York teaching French and I will be taking it. I want to thank you so much for your and all of your organization's help in this process and search for me. You all are a Godsend and I am so appreciative of all CS&A has done for me these past few months. It is clear that your company cares a lot about its clients. I'm so appreciative!!
Thanks again, and I'll be sure to refer my friends to check out Carney, Sandoe & Associated. Well worth it!
I did obtain a position as a lower school teacher! The most wonderful aspect of the CS&A experience for me involves being matched with a ‘new' position that really is a perfect blend of my past education/experiences and career dreams. I have worked for a good decade as a speech-language pathologist. When I needed to relocate to a different geographic locale, I strongly desired to remain in the independent school setting. The fact that CS&A was able to match me with an independent school in my desired geographic locale that addresses the needs of students with language based learning disabilities (my past experience as a speech-language pathologist) as a lower school teacher (a long held interest of mine) is amazing-serendipitous, really. Whenever anyone, be it someone from the independent school environment or otherwise, asks me how I found this fantastic job opportunity, I never fail to mention the role that CS&A played!
This past week I was out in California doing campus visits. I received an offer for the Spanish teacher position, and I have decided to accept it. Thank you very much for your help during my search and putting me in touch with the schools. I feel this would have been an infinitely more complicated process if it weren't for Carney Sandoe and your help along the way. Again, thank you for all of your help in finding this great position.
Dear Ben and Beth,
As you know I accepted the job offer, and it is the job of a lifetime for me. It is such a great fit; you really did an excellent job. I just wanted to take the time to update you and let you know that what you do really helps–and the connections you forge are real. Thank you for doing what you do!
I just wanted to let you know that I have been offered and accepted the job. Thank you so much for your help during this process! Although I wasn't placed by Carney, Sandoe in the end, your referrals were extremely strong leads for me and I was very interested in all of them! I am very happy that I chose to use Carney, Sandoe.
All the best,
I am writing to thank Todd Gochman for his work with me through Carney, Sandoe, and Associates this year. He has worked with me since October in building an online resume and sending out my information to schools. I have recently accepted a job teaching in Boca Raton, Florida and could not be more happy with the process.
Thanks again, I will be recommending your services to anyone I know who is looking for a teaching position.
Dear John and Fred,
Thank you both for your emails of congratulations and for all of your support and encouragement throughout the process.
We are excited about our upcoming adventure to Kinshasa and being a part of the TASOK community – I am pleased to have achieved my first headship and really looking forward to the challenges and rewards that comes with such a position.
I first began my career in international teaching using a couple other recruiting firms. When we started looking this time we connected with each of those organizations. (With one we were even required to pay a substantial fee and complete many requirements.) But we didn't feel any personal touch with them. My point here is that my experience with Carney, Sandoe has been above and beyond my expectations, and I am very impressed with your level of service and support. From the moment I was first in contact until now, you have responded to every email in a timely manner, and treated me with care, respect, and helped me along the journey – at the same time doing the same for the school and other candidates. It always felt like you were in my corner. You genuinely and thoroughly took the time to get to know me as a candidate through my application, Skype interview, detailed reference checks and in email. I can't thank you enough, and will definitely recommend you to colleagues and schools – and look forward to working together again with Carney Sandoe in the future. The other organizations don't even come close to the sophisticated level of communication and support.
Take care, and will be in touch
I cannot speak more highly of Carney Sandoe – which I heard about through another success story – and am convinced I could not have found such a perfect school without Leslie and Maddie and your whole team. In fact, without Leslie's heroic efforts in making sure I sat down with the hiring folks at my new school at CS&A's Washington DC hiring conference, I don't believe they would ever have been on my radar. I interviewed for a middle school position they had open, and we all fell in love with each other! They ended up offering me a position in their upper school – 9th grade world history, Technology, and AP Psychology.
Thanks to Maddie, Leslie and the entire team for all of your hard work and effort – I clearly could not have done it without you!
All my best and I hope you have a great summer.
I am a happy to report that thanks to your help, I was offered and have now accepted the Media Arts Position. I cannot thank you enough for your persistence in recommending that they review my resume. This is life changing for me and my family, and I am beyond thrilled to be employed at such an amazing school. I have you to thank for this so, once again, Thank you Thank you!!!
While abroad, I created a free basic profile with [CS&A], which includes a statement of your teaching philosophy, a resume, and letters of recommendation. The agency also asks that you indicate locations around the world in which you are willing to teach, and what your areas of interest and expertise are.
Shortly after, Carney Sandoe & Associates began sending my documents to schools within my area of interest, and I only had to follow up with cover letters. Between the months of January and May, the agency sent my documents to something like thirty schools, and at the beginning of May I was offered (and will accept) a Spanish teaching position with a college preparatory school called Oakwood School in Morgan Hill, California.
For students interested in teaching children and adolescents, I strongly recommend using Carney Sandoe & Associates. The agency sends its members' resumes to schools often before the positions becomes public, giving them a bit of an edge over other applicants.
I just signed my contract and sent it…I have really enjoyed working with you, Schuyler, and CS&A. I want to thank you for such helpful feedback every time I had a question. I had a terrific experience working with CS&A; I learned so much and feel that I am more prepared for next year than I would have been had I gone through this process on my own. Thank you!
I apologize for the delay in response. Great news!! I received and accepted an offer…I am very excited and extremely grateful for all your help, time, and effort! Please send my best to all who helped in the process. I really enjoyed working with you all. Your responsiveness, insight, and empathy were both helpful and comforting. I am indeed very glad I had the opportunity to work with you.
All the best,
Dear Beth and Alex,
I'm writing to let you know that I received a wonderful offer on Friday from a school in Atlanta, and I'll be accepting that position (officially) tomorrow!
I'm writing to celebrate that news with you and to express my gratitude for your extraordinary help along the way.
So thank you again! It's clear to me now–even more than before–that you're both involved in something truly great, something with the power to really change and improve people's lives. I feel very fortunate to have met you both. I know where to go now and where to send others.
Will – First of all, thank you so so so much for all your help in my job search process. I have accepted the offer, and I'm really excited about this. I really couldn't have done this without you, especially for the LA Forum – speaking to you before all the interviews (my first teaching position interviews ever!) really helped me get my head straight and made me perform well that day. Those interviews led to the school visit interviews, and even to this offer!
Thank you again for your fantastic work! I love all of the schools I encountered, and I'm so thrilled to have encountered so many wonderful people who work in education. Not only are you an all-star, but your clients are, too.
I accepted the offer today – my wife and I are very excited.
I want to thank you so much for all of your guidance and help over the last year plus. You've been an awesome resource and advocate and I sincerely appreciate everything you've done for me.
And major props to Carney Sandoe as a whole. You guys put on an awesome event in Boston and offer a really useful service for job seekers.
So I'll sign off for now and reiterate my sincere thanks for everything.
All the best to you and your family.
It is crunch time and I have made a decision: I will be taking the job! I am about to send them a message and a signed contract. Thank you so much for being a sounding board in the process and offering me your advice. And thanks – of course – for finding me the job! I very much appreciate it. CS&A has once again proven a wonderfully efficient way to find a job while living in Europe.
I just wanted to reach out and thank you for being such a pleasure to work with. You previously said it would be OK for me to work with other firms as well. So, I tried working with a smaller, more regional firm. Let's just say it wasn't nearly the positive experience I've had with CS&A. I walked away with a newfound appreciation for you and your firm, and the very kind, honest, and friendly approach you have when dealing with me. It's clear from your tone and choice of words in your e-mails and phone conversations that you really do care about me and the candidates you work with. You have taken the time to listen to what I want and you believe in what I have to offer, and you've made me feel genuinely hopeful I will be placed in the right school. Thanks again.
I thought the conference was really great and productive. Everything was so organized and well run. I very much enjoyed my school interviews. I also really enjoyed meeting the other candidates during the breaks between interviews. It was very helpful for me to speak with them and hear their own stories and how they got into teaching. There were people at all points of their careers, either at the beginning or more experienced, so it was great to hear their opinions and perspectives.
Thanks so much,
Can't thank you enough for your assistance over the years. You run an excellent company and I will gladly refer others to your organization…the best I found in my job searches. I feel as though I've landed at a wonderful school with a bright future. Many thanks for the referral.
I cannot thank you enough for your support and assistance in finding this job. I would never have been able to find this school on my own in a million years – I am going to recommend Carney Sandoe to everyone I know!
I do want you to know that I really like your agency; I felt like you really care and were working to help me find a position; were my partner in helping me to find something. I really appreciate the personal
attention you gave me.
First of all, I am so happy to have had you to work with. You made this process both enjoyable and worthwhile….If you ever need a ringing endorsement for Carney, Sandoe & Associates, just let me know. I appreciate both the professionalism in the application process and the broad reach that you give to your candidates.
Dr. Sue Langlois
On Friday I was offered the English position. I accepted the position yesterday.
Thanks for everything! Some smaller agencies I met with were quick to say that Carney Sandoe was “too big and impersonal” to help me find a placement, yet 75% of my interviews (and my new job) came from you guys!
I just wanted to send you an update that I've accepted that position. I will be an associate director of admission with my focus being on working with international markets.
I am tremendously excited for this position and it actually came down to choosing between this and another great school. It was tough, but I'm very excited about my next step.
Thank you so much! You have always been great to work with and I appreciate your help very much.
I'll be sure to reconnect if I ever decide to make another career move but I foresee myself being very happy for quite a while!
I have accepted the position as Director of Enrollment Management. My contract begins on June 1st and I couldn't be more excited! Thank you so much for all of your help. It was most certainly a long road but well worth finding what I believe will be a great match. Without your referrals I…would have missed out on this amazing opportunity. Thank you again for your patience and help finding a great school for me. I am incredibly grateful.
I am a teacher and career-changer who recently found a position
through Carney Sandoe. I wanted to say what a positive experience I have had
working with Todd Gochman.
The thing that strikes me most and is a unifying theme for Todd has been his professionalism. He has been prompt in his communications with me, from the beginning. He got back to me quickly after I initially contacted Carney. He gave me personal attention in interviewing me. He worked to match me with the opportunities that were best-suited to my personal goals and to create a fit between myself and the school. Along the way he has provided me consistently with information and I have had knowledge of where I stand and what steps I need to take. When I have had questions Todd has provided me with thoughtful and insightful replies. He understands the industry and I benefited from that.
Todd has also been adept at adapting and seeing possibilities; for example, I had mentioned in an email that I was traveling from New York to Los Angeles to interview at a school. Todd was in contact with a different school in the L.A. area that had a need in my academic area, and he arranged for me to meet an administrator from that school. That brief interview led to a later full-day interview, and the position which I have now accepted. I'm grateful for Todd's ability to think on his feet combined with his awareness of the marketplace.
Needless to say I am a satisfied customer. Thank you for your company's efforts and to Todd for his consistent quality work.
