Hiring Conferences

Thank you for a successful 2017 conference season!

Each year, CS&A hosts a series of faculty recruitment conferences that allow job-seeking candidates to connect face-to-face with representatives from a variety of K-12 schools.
At our conferences, schools can interview multiple candidates quickly and efficiently — in a single convenient location — and job-seekers get the similar benefit of being able to meeting with many different hiring schools in one day.

Our 2017 conferences have wrapped up for the year. We hosted eight different events across the country, connecting top teaching and administrator job seekers with hiring schools from all over the world. Starting in January with our Diversity/FORUM in Philadelphia, we criss-crossed the U.S. hosting regional events in Los Angeles, Atlanta, San Francisco, New York City, and Washington D.C. We also hosted larger national events in Boston and at the NAIS Annual Conference, which took place this year in Baltimore.

Each conference is a day of 30-minute interviews between candidates and schools, and most events feature some type of panel presentation during the day — past topics have included interview tips and tricks, advice for rookies, and a resume roundtable session given by current CS&A staffers. Conferences are open to K-12 independent schools and active CS&A candidates.

Our 2018 hiring conferences will be announced in early fall.

The conference allows for schools to engage with teachers who are at various points in their teaching careers. Whether the teacher has been in the field for 20 years, is a career changer, or is someone starting out in the teaching field, this conference permitted me to engage with teachers across the spectrum of possibilities.
