How does Carney Sandoe find me a job?
You'll work one-on-one with a Placement Associate who is a subject matter expert in your area of interest. This Associate will be your contact person, advising and guiding you throughout the job-finding process.
Your Associate will take the time to carefully understand who you are and what you are looking for, then send you curated job opportunities that fit what you're looking for — saving you the hassle of sorting through thousands of job postings.
And, our service is completely free.
What types of roles do you fill and at what kinds of schools?
We fill elementary, middle, and high school level roles in all subject areas, as well as staff and administrator-level roles. We also help schools hire senior administrators and leaders.

What are the qualifications?
We work with teachers and administrators at every career stage, from recent college graduates to veteran leaders. Qualifications vary from role to role but typically include:
- For teaching roles: a bachelor's or master's degree in the subject or area you wish to teach
- For administrative roles: a bachelor's degree in a relevant area; master's preferred for some administrative positions
- Minimum 1-3 years of teaching/administrative experience at the K12 level, preferably at private schools
- Willingness to coach, serve as an advisor, or lead a student activity group is an advantage
- Work authorization in the U.S. is required; schools cannot sponsor visas
