Amy Rogers Consultant

Amy Rogers is a Consultant with the Search & Consulting Group.

Amy has spent the last 15 years at Miss Porter’s School in Connecticut, where she served most recently as Dean of College Counseling. In addition to her work in College Office leadership, Amy served as the Associate Director of the school’s newly-launched Center for Global Leadership. In this role, she contributed to the conceptualization, development, and execution of mission-aligned programming and provided leadership in marketing, admissions, and enrollment of students in the program, which expanded the impact of the school and drove auxiliary revenue. Amy’s work with the Center for Global Leadership exemplifies how her leadership extended beyond the college counseling department at Miss Porter’s; she also served on the school’s Academic Council, helped spearhead the school’s transition to competency-based learning, served as co-chair of the 12th Grade Curriculum Design Team, and was a member of the Internal Administrative Team.

Previous Experience

Before joining Miss Porter’s, Amy worked in college counseling at Chase Collegiate School and The Taft School, as Associate Director of Annual Giving at Philips Academy Andover, as Associate Director of Admission for the Yale University School of Management, and as Director of Admission and Financial Aid at The Ethel Walker School.

A board member of the Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools (ACCIS) since 2016, Amy served as the Association’s chair from 2019-2022. A frequent presenter at consortiums and conferences, Amy has hosted workshops on college office marketing, anti-racism in independent schools, and reframing outcomes, among many others.

Amy’s role at CS&A represents a homecoming of sorts; from 2000-2003, she served as a Placement Associate tasked with recruiting and placing administrative leaders in independent schools across the country.
