Burke Zalosh Search Consultant

Burke is a Search Consultant for the firm’s Search and Consulting Group. She has been a part of the firm for over 20 years serving in several key capacities. Since joining the Search Group in 2011, Burke has worked on more than 50 head of school and senior administrative searches including PK-8 schools, K-12 schools, and religiously affiliated schools across the country.

Recent searches include head of school searches at Baltimore Friends School (MD), Lexington Montessori School (MA), Brookwood School (MA), and Wyndcroft School (PA), and administrator searches for Colorado Academy (CO), Waynflete School (ME), Hockaday School (TX), and Fessenden School (MA).

Previous Experience

Prior to joining the Search Group, Burke was a member of the Placement Group at CS&A where she was responsible for the elementary, history, and English teacher hiring for schools for nearly 10 years. As part of that work, Burke provided excellent recruitment and customer service to hundreds of schools and candidates and facilitated thousands of successful hires. She was also a classroom teacher at the Learning Project School (MA) and worked in the Advancement Office at the Rivers School (MA).

Education & Interests

Burke attended the Convent of the Sacred Heart (NY) and Pine Point School (CT) before graduating from the Williams School (CT). She received her B.S. in elementary education from the University of Vermont and a M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction from Lesley University.

Burke resides in the Boston area. She loves spending time with her two high school aged sons and serving as their personal taxi to and from numerous sporting events. She enjoys running, spending time at the beach, reading a good book, and walking her very poorly trained Labrador retriever, Brewster.
