Placement Associate: Elementary/Early Childhood Education

LeeAnn Villani has been with CS&A since the fall of 2014. She is currently a Placement Associate, a position she has held since 2020. In her role, LeeAnn is responsible for connecting top teaching candidates with some of the best independent schools in the country, and beyond. In addition to helping teachers find their next great opportunity, LeeAnn is frequently recruiting at colleges and universities nationwide, looking for aspiring teachers, and leading career fairs and other informational sessions for job seekers.

LeeAnn currently handles teacher placement for early childhood and lower school positions, and previously has overseen national placements in various fields including dama, speech/debate, video production, film study, PE, health & wellness, dance, technical theater, and performing arts chairs, as well as assisting in teacher placement in science and history.

Before joining CS&A, LeeAnn worked as a teacher in both private and public schools. She spent three years as a second grade teacher at Alexandria Country Day School in Alexandria, Virginia, where she also spearheaded the creation of a new mentorship program. LeeAnn previously taught elementary school at various grade levels at DC Prep in Washington, D.C., and in the Dover public school system in Dover, Massachusetts.

LeeAnn graduated from Vanderbilt University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Child Studies and subsequently earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from American University, graduating with high honors. LeeAnn lives just south of Boston with her husband, Chris, their son William, and dog, Maverick.
