Leslie Ganson is a Search Associate supporting the firm’s senior search consultants on a variety of administrative searches, both domestic and international.
Leslie first joined CS&A in 2012 as a member of the Placement Team, helping independent schools to recruit and hire teaching candidates in the fields of history and humanities as well as music and library science. She has also previously served as Social Media Director at CS&A.
Leslie comes with a strong background in writing, editing, and communications. Prior to joining CS&A, she served as the managing editor at Tufts University’s Institute for Applied Research in Youth Development. She also taught undergraduate writing courses during her graduate studies, and summer reading classes through the Institute for Reading Development.
Prior to rejoining CS&A as a member of the Search Group, Leslie worked in the field of marketing and communications for two Boston-based design and photography companies. She finds that her knowledge of digital marketing, branding, and PR is valuable in her service of independent schools.
Education & Interests
A native of Florida, Leslie graduated from Florida State University with a B.A. in English literature; Northeastern University with an M.A. in English rhetoric and composition; and is currently completing an M.Ed in secondary English education with Lesley University. She also holds a graduate certificate in women’s studies from M.I.T.’s Consortium for Graduate Studies in gender, culture, women, and sexuality.
Leslie is an avid distance runner and certified spin instructor. She has completed nine marathons, including four Boston Marathons. She is also a volunteer head coach for Girls on the Run.
