Scott Roy
Chief Technology Officer; Search Consultant; Computer Science/Technology Placement

Scott Roy joined Carney, Sandoe & Associates in 2000 as Managing Associate and Director of Technology and has served as Chief Technology Officer since 2012. In addition to overseeing the firm’s technology strategy and infrastructure, he also works as a Placement Associate and Search Consultant, recruiting computer science teachers and technology directors for independent schools.
Before joining CS&A, Scott was Manager of Consulting Services at Welsh Consulting in Boston and previously served as Senior Systems Engineer and IT Group Manager at UniFirst Corporation. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
Scott earned his B.S. from the University of New Hampshire and his M.S. in Computer Science from Boston University. He volunteers regularly as a grade 5 math tutor at Renaissance Charter School in Boston and serves as a mentor with the Trinity Education for Excellence Program (TEEP). He is also a former Big Brother with the Boston chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
