An interest in early childhood development
Strong references that convey your teaching abilities, connection with students, and mastery of teaching an elementary age group
Skills and flexibility for contributing to an independent school community in additional age-appropriate capacities, such as after school care, reading clubs, or art clubs
Patience, creativity, optimism, and adaptability
