Find a Biology Teaching Job You Love

Looking for your next teaching job? CS&A can help.

Who is CS&A?

We are an educational recruitment firm dedicated to matching teachers and administrators with jobs they love at K-12 private and independent schools worldwide. CS&A has helped more educators find jobs they love at independent schools than any other organization (more than 32,000 to be exact, but who's counting?).

We fill positions in all the sciences, including biology, chemistry, physics, and more, at all elementary and secondary grade levels.

How does CS&A find me a teaching job?

We’re a team of passionate professionals dedicated to helping great teachers find great jobs. With deep relationships with a wide network of schools (independent, charter, boarding, secular, nondenominational) across the U.S. and around the world, we know schools, their culture, their community, and their leadership.

Our approach to finding you a job is highly-personalized and authentic. Through phone calls, emails, and a collaborative experience, we get to know you beyond your resumé to understand your career goals and job preferences. Your dedicated Placement Team then presents you with customized opportunities at schools that match what you're looking for. We do the hard work of searching for jobs for you! Our ultimate goal is to find you the best-fit job at a school where you'll thrive.

Oh, and our service is completely free. Why would you want to search for a job in any other way? Read more details about the job search process here.

What are the qualifications?

The CS&A Science Placement Team works with teachers at every career stage, from recent college graduates to department chairs. Science is a high-demand subject area in independent schools, and we encourage you to apply for candidacy if your qualifications include:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in biology or a related science (significant coursework in biology may also be acceptable)
  • Experience teaching children, particularly in an independent, private, boarding, college preparatory, or similar K-12 school setting
  • Knowledge of 21st-century learning principles and techniques
  • A willingness to contribute the hiring school's community outside of the classroom, such as coaching sports, advising extracurricular activities, supervising a dorm, etc.

How do I get started with CS&A?

Partnering with CS&A is easy! Just fill out our online candidate application. It asks you questions about your work history, educational background, and job type preferences, which we use to get to know you and determine if we'll be a good resource for your job search. The Science Team will review your responses and you'll be notified shortly via email of your status with us.

Alexandra Pacor
I am emailing to thank you, my Placement Counselor, and the rest of the team at your company for your help in my job search. Thanks to you all, I have recently accepted a fantastic position. When I applied to the same position through another service, my application was lost in the mix of others; however, I was able to get the first interview by applying through your service.
