Recap: Conference Season 2016
We can hardly believe that we have hosted our final hiring conference of the season in lovely, springy Washington, DC last Friday. It has been quite a year for CS&A conferences. With nine events–including two brand-new conferences–this was our busiest conference season yet. Thank you to everyone who came, interviewed, spoke, learned, and networked with us throughout the season.
December: CS&A @ TABS

We began conference season earlier than ever, when we teamed up with The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS) to offer the first-ever hiring event specifically for boarding schools. This was also our final event to feature a longstanding CS&A tradition: teal hats.
January: Diversity Forum and FORUM/Los Angeles

Our second annual Diversity Forum was a success, with inspiring keynotes from Reveta Bowers (Head of School, the Center for Early Education) and Temba Maqubela (Head of School, The Groton School). Attendees participated in professional development panels and workshops related to issues of diversity and inclusion, and candidates had the opportunity to interview with schools committed to these topics.
Is that some California sun we spy at FORUM/LA?
For the fourth year running, FORUM/LA was an excellent opportunity for candidates and schools in Southern California to meet at the beautiful Sofitel Hotel Beverly Hills (and for our Boston-based team to see some much-needed sun).
February: FORUM/Boston and LINK @ NAIS/San Francisco

Our biggest event of the year, FORUM/Boston connected hundreds of candidates and client schools over two days in our home city. We love this event–it’s where we see our work truly come to life.
Our Fun Run to benefit the BASIC Fund
We journeyed to San Francisco this year for our annual LINK @ NAIS event. We were thrilled to give back by hosting a Fun Run to benefit the BASIC Foundation one morning. Thanks to all who laced up their sneakers at the crack of dawn to join us!
March: FORUM/NYC and FORUM/Florida

March came in like a lion with a snow storm and a conference in the Big Apple. Here, we helped schools in the Tri-State area and beyond meet hundreds of candidates actively seeking positions.

For the first time, we hosted FORUM/Florida, an event dedicated to our friends in the Sunshine State. We soaked up the sun while helping Florida-based schools and candidates make the match.
April: FORUM/Atlanta and FORUM/DC

We closed out conference season with two fantastic regional events: FORUM/Atlanta at the beautiful St. Regis Hotel, and FORUM/DC in Dupont Circle. At these events, schools and candidates form the southeast and mid-Atlantic, respectively, were able to meet, interview, and learn from insightful panel discussions.
