Third Annual Diversity Forum: January 28, 2017

Intertwined tree branches with

We are excited to announce that we are hosting our Third Annual Diversity Forum on January 28, 2017 at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia.  The theme of this year’s event is Allies in Action: Pushing for Progress in Our Communities

Both a hiring conference and a professional development and leadership symposium, the event strives to help those from marginalized groups and their allies find their dream jobs and spark conversation about how educators can work together towards inclusion and action in our communities. Schools have the opportunity to meet candidates face-to-face, and job seekers have access to extraordinary interviewing opportunities with hiring schools. Additionally, professional development seminars and panel discussions will feature a slate of thought leaders on issues of diversity and inclusion in our schools.

This year's keynote speaker is professor, philosopher, author, and activist Dr. Cornel West. A prominent and provocative democratic intellectual, Dr. West is a Professor of Philosophy and Christian Practice at Union Theological Seminary and Professor Emeritus at Princeton University. We look forward to Dr. West's participation in our event and his thoughts on this increasingly important topic.

Now entering its third year, our Diversity Forum continues to be a huge success–and we remain committed to this important work. Check out the quick video below of Forum highlights from 2016 and register for this year’s event today.
