The Warm Feeling of Giving Back

Volunteers in purple aprons collect children's items for a donation drive

We at CS&A are fortunate to love our work, our city, and the incredible schools and candidates we serve everyday. Around the holidays, we're especially mindful of the many things we have to be thankful for and for the past few years, we have found a variety of ways to give back and support our community.

This year, we partnered with Cradles to Crayons, a nonprofit organization that equips children from birth through age 12 living in homeless or low-income situations with the essential items they need to thrive. In support of its Gear Up for Winter program that aims to support 40,000 children this winter by preparing them before the temperature drops, we held a company-wide collection for children's winter coats and warm clothing. We happy to report that Cradles to Crayons has since made 95 coat donations, along with an additional 50 bags of warm winter clothing, to children in the Boston area. That means 95 children will now have a winter coat to walk to school in, play in the snow, and just be a kid.

The recent frigid temperatures we've been experiencing in Boston remind us of how crucial this support is to families in need. We hope this inspires you to give a little back this holiday season as well.
