Who is Carney Sandoe?

Carney Sandoe is an educational recruitment firm dedicated to matching teachers and administrators with jobs they love at K-12 private and independent schools worldwide. CS&A has helped more educators “make the match” with independent schools than any other organization in the country (more than 32,000 to be exact, but who's counting?).

Our mission is to help connect great educators and great schools. With deep relationships with a wide network of schools (independent, charter, boarding, secular, nondenominational) across the U.S. and around the world, we know schools, their cultures, their communities, and their leadership.

How does CS&A find me a teaching or administration job?

Our approach to finding you a job is intentionally highly-personalized and authentic. Through phone calls, emails, and a collaborative experience, we get to know you beyond your resumé to understand your career goals and job preferences.

Schools use Carney Sandoe to find the best educators for their communities, without having to sort through thousands of applications. Because our partner schools trust our process, we often have open positions that schools do not list publicly.

Step 1. Fill out our online application. The free application asks you questions about your work history, education background, skills and interests, and job type preferences, which we use to get to know you and understand if we'll be a good resource for your search. Our Placement Team will review your application and you'll be notified shortly of your status with us.

Step 2. Work one-on-one with your Placement Team. If you're accepted as a candidate, you'll work one-on-one with a Placement Associate who will present you with curated positions at schools that match your specific needs and requirements. We do the hard searching work for you! They also serve as your advocate throughout the entire personalized process, ensuring they find you a job that is a great fit. Why would you want to search for a job in any other way?

Oh, and our service is completely free. Read more details about the job search process here.
