Nativity High School is thrilled to announce that Marisela Miranda will serve as their Founding Head of School. Marisela currently serves as the Vice Principal at Stella Maris Academy in San Francisco, CA, where she has worked since 2021. Prior to joining Stella Maris, she was at St. Monica Academy in Montrose, CA, for 12 years.

City and Country School is pleased to announce that Mike Jackson will be their next Director of Finance and Operations. Mike most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of New York's Blue School, from 2019-2023, and was also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation for Letters.

San Francisco Friends School is delighted to announce the appointment of Veronique Kessler as their incoming Chief Finance and Operations Officer. Veronique has been the Chief Financial Officer at the Galloway School in Atlanta, GA for the past eleven years.

Greensboro Day School is pleased to announce the appointment of Timothy “Tim” Finnegan as their next Chief Financial Officer. Tim comes to Greensboro Day School from the Archdiocese of New York, where he has worked since 2015 and where he currently serves as Director of Finance.

Columbus Academy is pleased to announce that Adriana Matzke has been appointed as their new Director of Enrollment Management. From 2002-2021, Adriana was at The Blake School in Minneapolis, where she most recently served as Associate Director of Admissions. She is currently the Director of K-12 Outreach and Engagement at World Savvy, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit.

Woodlynde School is thrilled to announce the appointment of Gregory “Greg” Martin as their next Head of School. Greg currently serves as the Assistant Head of School at Ranney School in Tinton Falls, NJ, and has previously served in leadership roles at La Jolla Country Day School and Cincinnati Country Day School.

Alta Vista School is delighted to announce the appointment of Rob Cousins as their next Head of School. Rob comes to Alta Vista School from New York's Ethical Culture Fieldston School, where he has served as Principal since 2012. He was previously Head of the Lower School at Léman Manhattan Preparatory School.

The Bush School is thrilled to announce that Robert “Rob” Blackwell will be their next Middle School Director. Rob has served as the Middle School Assistant Director at Seattle's Lakeside School since 2019, and was previously the Middle School Head at Woodlawn School in Mooresville, NC.

Trinity Valley School is pleased to announce the appointment of Brandon Palomo as their next Athletic Director. Brandon previously served as the Athletic Director at TMI Episcopal in San Antonio, TX, and also worked in the athletic departments of the University of the Incarnate Word and Saint Mary's Hall.

Sacred Heart Greenwich is delighted to announce that Caitlin O'Neill will be their next Head of Lower School. Caitlin comes to Sacred Heart Greenwich from the Convent of the Sacred Heart in New York, NY, where she has served in a number of roles since 2010.

Cornerstone Christian Academy is thrilled to announce the appointment of Brandon McNeice as their next Head of School. Brandon is the founder of Tack Educational Consulting in Princeton, NJ, and currently serves as its Managing Director. He previously worked at BASIS Independent Schools in New York and California, and has served in admissions roles at a number of academic institutions.

Moravian Academy is pleased to announce that Elyse McGovern will be their new Director of Enrollment Management. Elyse is currently the Director of Admissions and Placement at Lehigh Carbon Community College in Schnecksville, PA, and has served in admissions roles at Kutztown University, East Stroudsburg University, and DeSales University.

Cathedral Preparatory School & Villa Maria Academy (VMCPCSS) is delighted to announce the appointment of Kevin Moore as their next Vice President of Advancement. Kevin comes to VMCPCSS from Pennsylvania State University at Erie, where he has been the Director of Development and Alumni Relations for The Behrend College since 2017.

Saint Joseph School is delighted to announce that Kristen Fiumara will be their new Assistant Head of School. Kristen has been a teacher at Saint Joseph School since 1999. Throughout her 24 years at Saint Joe's, she has been a part of the 5th grade team and has held roles on the leadership team, SEL committee, and various faculty committees.

Head-Royce School is thrilled to announce the appointment of Molly Donovan as their next Director of Annual Giving. Molly comes to Head-Royce from the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY, where she has served as a Development Officer and Senior Manager for Fundraising Events since 2018.

The Benjamin School (TBS) is thrilled to announce that Kristen Sheehan will serve as their new Assistant Head of School. Kristen has been at TBS since 2007, and has been the Head of Lower School since 2015. Prior to joining TBS, she was the Dean of Faculty at All Saints Catholic School in Jupiter, FL.

City and Country School is delighted to announce that Julie Clardy will be their next Director of Communications. Prior to joining City and Country, Julie served as the Director of Communications for the Episcopal School of Dallas, a large PK-12 school in Texas, for the past 20 years.

Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt is pleased to announce the appointment of Patricia “Patti” Marshall as their next Superintendent. Patti previously served as the General Director of the American School of Guatemala, and prior to that was at the Ranney School in New Jersey for 18 years.

Holton-Arms School is delighted to announce the appointment of Barbara Eghan as their new Associate Head of School. Barbara comes to Holton-Arms from Georgetown Day School, where she has served in a number of roles since 2014, including as Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid and, most recently, as Director of Strategic Partnerships.

The Montessori School of Maui (MOMI) is delighted to announce the appointment of John Carlstroem as their next Head of School. John has thirty years of professional experience in education, administration, nonprofit management, and fundraising, and has been the Head of School at Black Pine Circle School in Berkeley, CA since 2005.

Valley Beth Shalom Day School (VBSDS) is thrilled to announce that Kimberly Schwartz will be their next Head of School. Kimberly has been at the Milken Community School in Los Angeles, CA since 2008. She is currently the school's Chief Curriculum and Program Officer and previously served in numerous other roles, including Dean of Students and Upper School Principal.

Le Lycée Français de San Francisco (LFSF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Erin Grogan as their next Chief Financial Officer. Erin has an extensive background in finance and is currently the CFO of the San Francisco-based Webinar.net. She previously served in leadership roles at IFTTT and YouCaring Dot Com.

Xavier High School is pleased to announce that Rick Misenti will serve as their next President. Rick, a 1972 graduate of Xavier, served as Interim President for the 2023-24 school year. He was previously the Principal of Guilford High School in Connecticut, from 2007-2020.

Forman School is delighted to announce the appointment of Amy Clemons as their next Head of School. Amy has more than 24 years of experience in education and comes to Forman from the Woodlynde School in Strafford, PA, where she has been the Head of School for four years.

The International School of Paris is thrilled to announce that Antoine Delaitre has been appointed as their next Head of School. Antoine currently works at the United Nations International School in New York, where he has served as High School Principal since 2015. He previously served in various roles at San Francisco's French American International School and International High School.

The American School of Brasilia is delighted to announce the appointment of Charles “Charlie” Schlegel as their next Head of School. Charlie currently serves as the Principal of Academia Cotopaxi in Quito, Ecuador, where he has been since 2020.

Wellington School is delighted to announce the appointment of Eliza McLaren as their next Head of School. Eliza is currently the Associate Head of School at Indian Creek School in Crownsville, MD, and previously worked at Rye Country Day School and Roland Park Country School.

The United Nations International School is thrilled to announce that Adam Archer will be their next Director of Information Technology. Adam currently serves as the Technology Director for the United Nations International School in Hanoi, Vietnam, where he has been since 2015.

Casablanca American School is pleased to announce that Derek Harwell will be their Interim High School Principal for the 2023-24 school year. Derek was previously the Director of Technology for the American Cooperative School of Tunis and the Lincoln School in Nepal, and most recently served as Director of the International School of Kigali in Rwanda.

Escuela Americana is thrilled to announce that Nelyda Miguel has been selected as their next General Director. Nelyda comes to Escuela Americana from HudsonWay Immersion School in New York, where she has been the Head of School since 2021; she was previously the Associate Head at Red Oaks School in Morristown, NJ.

Wilmington Friends School is delighted to announce that ShaQuan Buffaloe will be their next Director of Finance and Operations. ShaQuan has worked in non-profits for over 20 years, including most recently as the Executive Vice President of Finance for the YMCA of Delaware.

Abington Friends School is delighted to announce that Nicole Hood has been appointed as their 10^th  Head of School. Nicole is currently the Director of Upper School at the Bryn Mawr School in Auburn, MA, and has served in leadership roles in independent schools for over 15 years.

Whitby School is pleased to announce that John “Jay” Briar will serve as their next Head of School. Jay is currently the Head of Powhatan School, a PK-8 school in Boyce, VA, and previously spent 15 years at the Sheridan School in Washington, DC as the Director of Academic Life and Middle School Head.

Casablanca American School is delighted to announce that Christopher Brueningsen will serve as their next Director. Chris has been the Head of School at the Kiski School in Saltsburg, PA for over 20 years, and previously worked at the Nichols School in Buffalo, NY and Brunswick School in Greenwich, CT.

Whitby School is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelly Murphy as their next Director of Development. Kelly comes to Whitby from Jackson Walnut Park School in Newton, MA, where she currently serves as the Director of Advancement.

Linden Waldorf School is delighted to announce that Mary Beth Sartain will be their next Director of Advancement. Mary Beth has been at Linden Waldorf since 2011, and has served as the school’s Director of Admissions since 2013.

Pechersk School International is proud to announce the appointment of Trae Holland as their next Director. Trae most recently served as the Head of School at Guatemala’s Safe Passage/Camino Seguro, and was previously Director of the ONE Institute at Academia Cotopaxi in Ecuador.

Don has served as an educational leader in schools across the world for over 25 years, including as the Executive Director of the InterAmerican Academy in Ecuador and as the Director of Awsaj Academy in Qatar.

Saigon South International School is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Kerr as their next Middle School Principal. Dan comes to Saigon South from the American School of Paris, where he has been the Lower School Director since 2017.

Sewickley Academy is delighted to announce the appointment of Heather Hoffman as their next Director of Enrollment Management. Heather has worked in the University of Pittsburgh Office of Admissions and Financial Aid for over 20 years, and has been the Office’s Director of Visitor Engagement since 2017.

Al-Bayan Bilingual School is pleased to announce the appointment of Wayne Richardson as their next Director. Wayne has extensive international education experience, and currently serves as the Campus Principal for Emirates National School in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.

The American Section at the Lycée International of Saint-Germain-en-Laye is delighted to welcome Brian Brazeau as their next Director. Brian joins the American Section from the American School of Paris, where he has worked since 2009, most recently serving as the Assistant Director of the Upper School.

Joe most recently served as the Director of Operations for the San Francisco-based Pledge 1%, and was previously the Director of Finance for Phalen Leadership Academies, a nonprofit network of elementary, middle, and high schools.

Ensworth School is pleased to announce the appointment of Beth Pollard as their next Chief Financial Officer. Beth was previously the Assistant Head of School for Finance and Operations at Darlington School in Rome, GA, where she had worked since 2006.

The Chapin School is pleased to announce that Patricia Foster will be their next Chief Finance & Operations Officer. Patty most recently worked as the Director of Finance and Operations for the American School of Doha in Qatar.

Shady Side Academy (SSA) is pleased to welcome Michelle Merson as their next Middle School Head. Michelle comes to SSA from the Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, CA, where she has worked since 1996. She has been the Head of Middle School at Crossroads since 2016.

St. Margaret’s Episcopal School is delighted to announce that Amy Roberts will be their next Upper School Principal. Amy most recently worked at the High Mountain Institute in Leadville, CO, where she served as Associate Head of School, Director of the HMI Semester Program, and Interim Head of School.

Good Shepherd Lutheran School is pleased to announce that Scott Root has been selected as their next Head of School. Scott previously worked as the Director of School Operations for Quality Schools International (QSI), overseeing the operations and initiatives of all 36 QSI schools in 26 countries.

Foothill Country Day School (FCDS) is pleased to announce that Shane Guilbert-Neal will be their permanent Upper School Director. Shane has been the FCDS Upper School Dean of Students since 2019, and served as Interim Upper School Director for the 2022-23 school year.

Norfolk Academy is delighted to welcome Travis Larrabee as their next Head of School. Travis comes to Norfolk Academy from William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia, PA, where he has been since 2007. He most recently served as Assistant Head of School.

Nueva School is thrilled to announce the appointment of Lauren Pool as their next Director of Teaching and Learning. Lauren comes to Nueva School from Jakarta Intercultural School, where she has served in a number of roles since 2013, including most recently as High School Principal.

Princeton Day School is delighted to announce that Kathleen O’Shaughnessey has been appointed as their next Head of Upper School. Katie has been at Rye Country Day School since 2016, serving as their Computer Science Department Chair, Director of Academic Technology, and Upper School Assistant Principal.

Chinese International School (CIS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Lee as their inaugural Deputy Director of University Counselling. Jennifer worked as a special project consultant in the Social-Emotional Counseling Office of CIS from 2021-22, and was most recently the Director of College Counseling and Academic Dean for the Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, CA.

Heather comes to Serviam from the Tatnall School in Wilmington, DE, where she has served in a number of roles since 2010, including as Tatnall's Innovation and STEM Coordinator and as a member of the advancement team.

Johnny is currently the Chief Financial and Development Officer for Letterform Archive, a non-profit museum and special collections library in San Francisco, where he has worked since 2016.

St. John Bosco Catholic School is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Robey as their next Principal. Mike’s educational experience spans over 35 years. He previously served as a Principal, Assistant Superintendent, and Superintendent for public schools throughout Illinois.

Ayesha has served in a number of leadership roles at New York City independent schools, including as Director of Middle School at the City and Country School and as Diversity Coordinator at the Dalton School.

David has been with the Bishop’s School in La Jolla, CA since 2013, serving as an English teacher, Associate Director of College Counseling, and, most recently, Director of Diversity, Equity, Community and Justice.

The Rivers School is thrilled to announce that Jenny Kravitz will serve as their next Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Jenny is currently the Director of Equity and Justice at the Pike School in Andover, MA and was previously a curriculum coordinator for Westford Public Schools.

The Galloway School is delighted to announce the appointment of Todd Herauf as their next Head of School. Todd currently serves as the Associate Head of School for Academics at River Oaks Baptist School in Houston, TX, where he has been since 2016.

Holy Family Cristo Rey Catholic High School is delighted to announce the appointment of Connie Urbanski as their next Principal. Connie currently serves as the Associate Superintendent of the Archdiocese of Atlanta, a role she has held since 2014. She was previously the Assistant Superintendent of the Diocese of Baton Rouge.

Canterbury School is pleased to announce that Matthew “Matt” Cloud will serve as their next Director of Advancement. Matt comes to Canterbury from the Casady School in Oklahoma City, OK, where he has been the Director of Campaigns since 2017.

The Hun School of Princeton is pleased to announce the appointment of Katelyn Cassell as their incoming Director of Enrollment Management. Katelyn comes to the Hun School from San Francisco University High School, where she has worked in the admissions office since 2015.

Larry most recently served as the Interim Head of Tucson Hebrew Academy, and was previously the Head of Herzliah High School in Montreal, Quebec.

International College is thrilled to announce the appointment of Tobin “Toby” Wait as their next President. Toby currently serves as the Superintendent of the American International School in Kuwait, where he has been since 2021. He was previously the Superintendent for a California public school district for ten years.

Saint Mary’s School is pleased to announce the appointment of Adam Holden as their permanent Head of School. Adam has been the Interim Head of Saint Mary’s since 2022, and previously served as the Head of Admiral Farragut Academy in St. Petersburg, FL and Instituto Alberto Einstein in Panama City.

Ursuline Academy of Cincinnati is thrilled to announce that Kristen Rojas will be their next Principal. Kristen, a 1985 graduate of Ursuline Academy, comes to Ursuline from Ohio’s Princeton City School District, where she currently serves as Principal of the Princeton Innovation Center.

Austin Jewish Academy is pleased to announce that Kari Loya will serve as their Interim Head of School for the 2023-24 school year. Kari most recently served as the Head of School for Good Hope Country Day School in Saint Croix, and was previously the Director of Institutional Advancement for the Dwight School in New York.

The Dalton School is delighted to announce the appointment of Jim Pautz as their new Associate Director of College Counseling. Jim currently serves as the Dean of Students for Avenues: The World School, and was previously the Associate Director of the Harvard Law School Executive Education department.

Sidwell Friends School is pleased to announce that Lawrence “Larry” Momo will serve as their Interim Director of College Counseling for the 2023-24 school year. Larry was previously the Director of College Counseling at New York’s Trinity School, where he served from 1994-2022.

The University School of Milwaukee is delighted to announce the appointment of Claudia Fritz as their new Director of Enrollment Management. Claudia has been at the University School of Milwaukee since 2008, serving as Associate Director of Enrollment Management and Associate Director of Auxiliary Programs.

City and Country School is thrilled to announce that Melissa Ritchie will serve as their next Director of Development. Melissa comes to City and Country School from Brooklyn Heights Montessori School, where she has been the Director of Institutional Advancement since 2016.

Servite High School is delighted to announce the appointment of Stephen Walswick as their new President. Stephen has served as Servite’s Principal since 2021, and as Interim President since December 2022. He was previously Servite’s Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Educational Technology from 2015-2018, before becoming Principal of Central Catholic High School in San Antonio, TX.

St. Luke’s School is pleased to announce the appointment of Sheila Sheldon as their next Chief Finance and Operations Officer. Sheila has been with the Archdiocese of New York since 2015, serving first as their Chief Accounting Officer before becoming the Executive Director of Finance in 2022.

Morristown-Beard School is delighted to announce that Richard Kasmin will be their next Chief Finance and Operations Officer. Richard is currently the Chief of Finance and Analytics for the New Jersey Council of County Colleges, and previously served as the Chief Economist and Director of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority.

San Diego French-American School (SDFAS) is delighted to announce the appointment of Isabelle David as their next Head of School. Isabelle comes to SDFAS from the French-American School of Chicago, where she has served as Director since 2012.

Dwight-Englewood School is thrilled to announce that Marcus Ingram will be their next Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. Marcus has extensive experience at a number of educational institutions, including serving most recently as the Head of Equity and Inclusion at Greenhill School in Addison, TX.

Wyoming Seminary is thrilled to announce that Keith Fischer will be their inaugural Director of Enrollment Management. Keith comes to Wyoming Seminary from Newark Academy in Livingston, NJ, where he has served as Director of Enrollment Management since 2018.

Perkiomen School is pleased to announce that Sandra “Sandi” Abraham will be their next Director of Enrollment Management. Sandi comes to Perkiomen from Lancaster Country Day School in Lancaster, PA, where she has been the Director of Admissions since 2018.

Jacqueline has been an independent consultant for the Salvation Army for over a decade, and recently also served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for the Register of Wills Office in Philadelphia, PA.

The American School of Bangkok is delighted to announce the appointment of Connie Kim as their next Deputy Head of School. Connie has served as an administrator in a number of international schools, including Chadwick International School, Hong Kong International School, and, most recently, Chadwick Ecopark in Vietnam.

Saint Thomas Choir School is pleased to announce the appointment of Nora Thomson as their next Director of Enrollment and Outreach. Nora comes to Saint Thomas Choir School from New York’s Dwight School, where she has been since 2009. She has served as Director of Admissions for the Early Childhood Division since 2012.

Andy has been at Francis Parker School in San Diego, CA, since 2017, serving in a number of roles including Director of College Counseling, Interim Associate Head of Upper School, and 10^th Grade Dean.

Stephen Gaynor School is thrilled to announce the appointment of Emily Barnes as their inaugural Director of Outreach and Innovation. Emily has been at Stephen Gaynor School since 2016, serving as the school’s Assistant Director of Advancement and Director of Annual Giving.

Matthew has extensive financial experience, having served in leadership roles for Principal Global Investors, K2 Advisors, and ABN AMRO. Montini Catholic High School is delighted to announce that Kevin Beirne will be their third President. Kevin has been at Montini since 2008, serving as a teacher, Director of the Digital Learning Initiative, Assistant Principal of Student Services, and most recently as Principal.

He comes to Francis Parker from the Ethical Culture Fieldston School in New York, where he has been the Director of Admissions for the Middle and Upper Schools since 2016.

Rice Memorial High School is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Nagy as their next Principal. Andrew comes to Rice Memorial from the Newman School in Boston, where he has been Assistant Head of School for over a decade.

The California Teacher Development Collaborative (CATDC) is pleased to announce that Lauren Benjamin will serve as their next Northern California Director, beginning in July 2024. Lauren, a multidisciplinary artist and educator, comes to CATDC from Sacred Heart Preparatory in Atherton, CA, where she is currently the Assistant Principal of Mission and Culture.

Whitby School is pleased to announce the appointment of Laura McDermott as their next Lower School Head. Laura has been at Whitby since 2011, serving as a teacher, Assessment Coordinator, and, most recently, Director of Assessment and Academic Development.

McCallie School is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jonathan Webster as the incoming Director of the Michaels-Dickson Scholarship Program. Jonathan has been at Washington and Lee University since 2002, and currently serves as Senior Associate Dean of Admissions.

Colorado Academy is pleased to announce that Kate McDonnell will be the school’s next Director of Advancement. Kate comes to Colorado Academy from Denver’s Rocky Mountain Public Media, where she currently serves as Vice President for Philanthropy.

One Schoolhouse is pleased to announce that Sarah Wike will be the next Senior Director of their Academic Program. Sarah currently serves as the Director of Educational Technology at Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, NC, where she has been since 2017.

St. John’s School is thrilled to announce the appointment of Kenley Turville as their next Director of College Counseling. Kenley has been an Associate Director in the College Counseling office of St. John’s since 2019.

McLean School is delighted to announce that Barry Davis will be their next Head of School. Barry comes to McLean School from St. Anne’s Episcopal School in Middletown, DE, where he currently serves as Head of School.

Safe Passage/Camino Seguro is delighted to announce the appointment of Erin Mooney as their next Executive Director. Erin has extensive nonprofit leadership experience, having previously served as the Executive Director of Cultivando and, most recently, Natün Guatemala, an NGO located in Panajachel, Guatemala.

Marin Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Harrison Shure as their next Dean of Academics. Harrison comes to Marin Academy from the Ethel Walker School in Simsbury, CT, where he currently serves as the Assistant Head of School and Dean of Academics.

With more than 25 years of experience in education, Marilyn has served in the capacities of Superintendent, Curriculum Director, Principal, Assistant Principal, and Teacher. She has served as Adjunct Faculty at Boston College and Worcester State University, guiding new teachers. Her experience and success include guiding school accreditations, creating diversity and inclusion initiatives, and overseeing capital projects. Marilyn earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Boston College, an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Worcester State College, and a BA in Humanities from Providence College.

Norfolk Collegiate School welcomes Nefertiti Makeda as their next Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Nefertiti served as the Founding Head of School at Andinet International School in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for 20 years. In her time there, she expanded the enrollment rate from two students to over 1,600 students in grades PK-12, fostered positive change and a sense of belonging within the community, and created a college counseling program resulting in 85-90% university acceptances for the students. Nefertiti holds a Global Executive Ed.D. from the University of Southern California, an M.Ed. from Endicott College, and a B.S. in Arts and Sciences from Tennessee State University.

BASIS Bilingual School Beijing is pleased to announce Mark Sylte as the Founding Head of School, effective July 2023.  Mark will leave The American School Foundation in Mexico City after five years of serving as their Executive Director. Mark began his career at Lawrenceville School in Princeton, where he served for 11 years as a classroom teacher and department chair before moving to Saint Andrew’s School, an Episcopal school in Boca Raton, where he was Head of Upper School. He and his family next moved overseas to Shanghai in 2010, where he was appointed as Head of School for Yew Chung International School before moving to Vietnam in 2013 as Head of School for Saigon South International School in Ho Chi Minh City. Mark holds a doctorate in History and a master’s degree in Russian History from Cornell University, a bachelor’s degree in History from St. Olaf College, and graduated from Father Ryan High School in Nashville, TN.

Montgomery Bell Academy is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. William H. Daughtrey III as their next Head of School, effective July 2023. William currently serves as Director of Upper School and Hunting Valley Campus at University School, an all-boys school in Cleveland, Ohio, where he has been for the past ten years. Prior to that, he served for seven years at Woodberry Forest School, also an all-boys school in Virginia where he coached, taught English, and served as Assistant Dean of Students, and Director of Outdoor Education. William holds a BA from University of Virginia, an MA from Georgetown University, and an Ed.D  from Vanderbilt University.

The Westover School is exited for Hadley Zeavin to join their community as the new Chief Strategic Inclusion Officer, effective this summer. She comes from La Jolla Country Day School, where she has served as the Director of Service Learning & Experiential Education and as the Community Service Learning Coordinator. While there, she designed and implemented leadership development tactics surrounding restorative practices and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Previously, she was the Assistant Director of Women’s Basketball Operations at the University of Virginia and George Washington University. Hadley earned a B.A. from Vanderbilt University in Sociology & Gender Studies, as well as an M.A. in Sport & Exercise Management, and completed coursework in Educational Leadership, Foundation and Policy at UVA’s Curry School of Education.

McMillan Education welcomes Tony Lambert into their Educational Counseling team. Tony leaves behind a seven-year tenure at The Winchendon School (MA & NY) as their Director of College Counseling (MA) and the Dean of College Counseling (MA & NY), where he was responsible for planning all college counseling events for the community, advising students throughout their application process, and overseeing the College Counseling program. Tony will join McMillan with over 30 years of experience working in education. Tony holds an MA in Spanish from Middlebury College and a BA in Spanish from Davidson College.

Deren will transfer to McMillan from The Kiski School where he spent three years as their Director of College Counseling. For nearly 40 years, Deren has served in admissions roles across California, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania helping students pursue academic excellence in higher education while sharing his expertise in financial aid and funding. Deren holds a BA in Liberal Studies from University of La Verne in La Verne, CA.

McMillan Education is pleased to welcome Heather Deardorff into their team of Educational Counselors. Heather comes from The Potomac School where she spent five years as their Director of College Counseling and prior, nine years as the Associate Director of College Advising at St. Paul’s School. Heather has spent 22 years in the education field, specifically within admissions and counseling, making program and curricular changes while supporting students and families as an educational counselor. Heather holds an MS in Counseling from the University of Vermont and a BA in American Studies from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Oregon Episcopal School is thrilled to announce Michael Spencer as their next Head of School, effective July 2023. Michael currently serves as Vice Rector for Faculty (Assistant Head of School) at St. Paul's School in Concord, NH. Michael began his career working at Tabor Academy as teacher, dorm supervisor, advisor and coach.  He spent his summers at St. Paul's School where he served as teacher and Chaplain.  Continuing on to Taft School, he served 10 years as school Chaplain and dean of spiritual life and as founder and director of the Humanities curriculum leading the Philosophy, Religion, English, and Ethics program before returning to St. Paul's. Michael earned his A.B. in philosophy/classics, magna cum laude, from the College of the Holy Cross. He also received his Master of Divinity, summa cum laude, from Yale Divinity School. He subsequently earned a Certificate in Anglican Studies from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale, completing coursework for the Master of Sacred Theology. Michael also holds a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Hillbrook School enthusiastically welcomes Charlotte Burkly as their new Director of College Counseling. Charlotte’s career in admissions began at Columbia Business School where she served as the Assistant Director of Admissions, followed by the Assistant Dean of Admissions at Princeton University. She also brings experience in Independent Schools from her time at University School in Ohio, serving as the Associate Director of College Counseling. In addition, Charlotte has served as the Faculty Head of McCarraher House for the past three years, advising students, overseeing prefects, and participating in the Student Life Committee. Charlotte earned a B.A. in Chinese at Colgate University and an M.S in Science Education from CUNY at City College. He has been a member of Holy Cross High School’s Board of Directors since 2017 and currently holds the role of Executive Committee Treasurer for the school. Mark leaves Xavier High School in Manhattan where he has worked since 2008 including the past 10 years as Xavier’s Director of Development and most recently Vice President for Advancement. Prior to joining Xavier, Mark spent four years practicing law at Peter Birzon & Associates in Long Island. He also worked for two years in marketing and communications at Merrill Lynch. Collegiate School is please to welcome Rekha Puri as their Assistant Head of School for Enrollment, effective this July.  She leaves The School at Columbia University where she holds an impressive 14-year tenure as Director of Admissions & Enrollment. Previously she served as Founder of LINEglobal (New York & Bombay) where she developed and implemented a global education initiative for a volunteer-based nonprofit that connects, supports, and empowers innovative collaborations between schools in the U.S. and India. Rekha has also held teaching and admissions leadership roles at schools throughout New York City, including Ideal School of Manhattan, Cathedral School of St. John the Divine, Playground Project Inc, and West Side Montessori School.  Rekha holds a BA in Fine Arts from Sir J. J. School of Art at Bombay University, an American Montessori Society Certificate from Montessori Teacher Education Center (CA), and an M.A. in Organization & Leadership from the Klingenstein Center at the Teachers College of Columbia University.

Bengt Rosberg will be Oberoi's new Deputy Head of School, effective this July. Bengt comes to Oberoi from International School of Kazan where he has served as Secondary School Principal since 2018. Previously he served as Director at EtonHouse Malaysia International School from 2015-2018. Bengt also has experience serving as Curriculum Coordinator as well as Academic Affairs Coordinator for Quatar Academy Sidra. Bengt holds a BA in Swedish Language and Literature, History, and Religion from University of Lund, Sweeden, and an M.Ed in Educational Leadershiup from Lehigh University (PA).

Oberoi International School welcomes Paul DuCharme as their next Head of School, effective this July.  Paul leaves Shekou International School in Shenzhen, China where he has served as Deputy Head for the last two years. With a wealth of experience in international schools, he has served in several leadership roles throughout his career including Middle School Principal at American International School in Budapest, Assistant Middle School Principal and Social Studies Teacher at Escuela American in El Salvador, and Social Studies Teacher at American Community School in Lebanon. Paul holds a BS from the University of Vermont, an M.Ed from Framingham State University, and a Ph.D in Education from Plymouth State University.

This summer, Nightingale-Bamford School welcomes Nichole Foster-Hinds as their next Head of Upper School. Nichole comes to Nightingale from Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, MD where she has served as Head of Middle School since 2017. Previously, she served as Middle School DEI Coordinator, Dean of 8th Grade, and Chair of Math Department at Princeton Day School. Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School is thrilled to announce Carey Temple Harrington '86 as the next President. No stranger to McCauley, Carey is an Alumna and the former Vice President of Institutional Advancement (2013-2021). During her tenure as VP for Institutional Advancement, she led the current Future Ready capital campaign to raise more than 6 million dollars, becoming the largest fundraising initiative in school history. Most recently, Carey served as Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana, where she developed donor opportunities and stewarded sustainable relationships with corporate partners. Carey also served as Director of Major Gifts at Nazareth Academy High School in Illinois.  She holds a B.A. in Journalism from Marquette University and a Mini MBA Certificate in Business Administration from Loyola University of Chicago.

Friends Seminary is excited to announce the appointment of Michelle Cristella as their next Head of Middle School. She is currently the Middle School Head at Speyer Legacy School where she has been since 2011.  Previously, during a six-year tenure at Mandell School, she held roles respectively as Teacher, Upper School Advisor, Director of Secondary School Placement, Assistant Head of Upper School, and Dean of Students in K-8. Michelle also has teaching experience at multiple schools in New York and Maryland. Rye Country Day School has announced that Peter Quagliaroli, former Head of the Upper School at St. Anne’s-Belfield School in Charlottesville, VA, will be the new Upper School Principal starting in July. During Peter's accomplished seven year tenure at St. Anne’s-Belfield, he redesigned the daily schedule, secured a partnership with the University of Chicago Marine Biology Lab, contributed to the DEI strategic plan, and remodeled the student government and disciplinary committee. He was also actively involved in St. Anne’s-Belfield School COVID-19 task force. Prior to assuming the role as Head of Upper School, he served as College Counseling Director where he designed and implemented strategic changes to dramatically improve student outcomes. Before his time at St. Anne's-Belfield, Peter held a 13 year tenure at Groton School serving respectively as Dormitory Head, Head Coach (throughout), English Teacher, Grade Chair, and Associate Director of College Counseling. Early in his career Peter also held teaching and coaching roles at Westminster Schools, Harvard University, and Worcester Academy. A graduate of Roxbury Latin School, Peter holds a B.A. in English from Cornell University, an M.A. in American Literature & Jazz Music from Dartmouth College and is currently completing his M.Ed in Administration & Supervision from University of Virginia as well as his Certificate in School Management & Leadership from Harvard University.

Notre Dame High School in Belmont, California is pleased to welcome Meredith Essalat as their next Head of School. Meredith leaves Mission Dolores Academy, having served as their Principal for five years and most recently Head of School since 2021. Prior to her role at Mission Dolores, Meredith taught middle school language arts and was the middle school dean of academic curriculum at Nativity School in Menlo Park, CA. She also is the author of the popular book, The Overly Honest Teacher: Parenting Advice from the Classroom, which was released in 2020. Meredith has a twenty-year track record within California in academic administration, student development, marketing, and alumni relations. She holds an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, both from American College of Education, and a B.A. in Mass Communication from Menlo College. Meredith attended Notre Dame Belmont, graduating with the class of 1998.

An alum of Westminster, a long-serving teacher, and a leader in the Upper School, Chanley Small transitions from Interim to Permanent Head of Upper School. Before becoming a member of the Westminster faculty in 2008, she worked as a professor and researcher in epidemiology at Emory University. Chanley chaired Westminster's science department for five years, led the Upper School JanTerm program in its first three years, and served as Upper School Academic Dean in 2017. Chanley holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Brown University, an M.S. in Biology from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from Emory University.

Principia School is excited to welcome Merry Sorrells this summer as their next Head of School. Merry has served as head of school at two faith-based, private schools for 14 years, St. Martin's Episcopal School and St. Paul's Episcopal School, both in Louisiana.  In addition, she has worked as an assistant head of school, director of advancement, and director of admissions. She is currently interim associate head of school at Casady School in Oklahoma City. Merry has experience as a founding board member for a charter school and also as a board member for three private schools. She has served as president of the board executive committee of the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest. She also served as secretary of the board for the Southwest Association of Episcopal Schools and was on the Standards Committees for both of these associations for several years. Merry holds an Ed.D. in Executive Leadership from University of Holy Cross, an M.Ed. in Education Administration from University of New Orleans, and a B.A. in International Relations from Principia College.

Since 2015, Tiffani has held several College Counseling roles at United National International School in New York, most recently Co-Director of College Counseling, while also serving as Curriculum Coordinator at New York University until 2018. Gloria leaves Virgin Islands Montessori School & Peter Gruber International Academy, where she holds an impressive 18-year tenure serving respectively as teacher (throughout), Accreditation Coordinator, Montessori and IB Administrative Leader, Strategic Director, and most recently Director of the MYP & DC International Baccalaureate Program. Dr. Viviana Valdes-Santos will join National Cathedral School in July as the new Head of Upper School. For the last 21 years, Dr. Valdes-Santos has taught in the language department at Phillips Exeter. She currently serves as the Robert Kesler Distinguished Professor in Modern Languages and instructs all levels of French, Spanish, and Italian language classes. Prior to Phillips Exeter Academy, Dr. Valdes-Santos worked in prominent girls’ schools Dana Hall and the Agnes Irwin School. She also spent time at the undergraduate level, teaching at Rutgers University, St. Joseph University, and the University of Delaware. She holds a BA from Georgetown University, an MA from Middlebury College, and a PhD in French literature from Rutgers University.

New Hope Academy is thrilled to welcome Dr. Tonja Williams as their next Head of School, effective this July. Tonja joins New Hope from the esteemed Head Middle Magnet School of Mathematics and Science in Nashville, where she has served as the Executive Principal for nine years. With over two decades of experience as a secondary teacher and administrator, her strengths lie in teaching, mentoring, and empowering others in education and leadership. She has worked collaboratively to lead two schools, Head Magnet and Nashville School of the Arts, to Tennessee Reward School Status. Prior to her appointment to Head Magnet, she served as the Academic and Curriculum Principal at Glencliff High School and worked for seven years as the assistant principal for Nashville School of the Arts. In 2019, Tonja launched Peace, Love & Pearls, a girls’ mentoring program designed to equip middle school girls with tools and coping strategies to help them succeed in work and life. In 2020, she launched Power, Strength, and Purpose, a male mentoring program designed to help young men recognize their inner power, strength, and purpose. Tabor Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Rachael Beare as Associate Head of School for External Affairs beginning July 1, 2022. Rachael brings more than 30 years of experience in admissions and marketing in independent schools across the US, including Phillips Exeter Academy, Lakeside School, The Hotchkiss School, and her alma mater, Loomis Chaffee School. She was also a founding member of the administrative team at Keystone Academy in Beijing, China. In addition to her experience at some of the top independent schools in the country, Rachael served as a founding Board member for the Association of Independent School Admission Professionals (AISAP), a role that showcases her dedication to make a difference in schools.  Rachael earned a bachelor’s degree in English, magna cum laude, from Amherst College and a master’s in education from Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt is excited to announce the appointment of Patricia (Patti) Marshall as their next Superintendent, effective July 2023. She will leave the American School of Guatemala where she has served as General Director/Head of School since 2017. Previously, she served respectively as Lower School Head and Assistant Head of School for Academics at Ranney School in New Jersey (1999-2017). Patti began her career in education at Colegio Panamericano as a History, Civics, and English teacher before transitioning to English Principal and then Interim Head of School (1996 & 1999). Pattie earned a B.A in History and Art History from Ohio University, and an M.A.S in Leadership and Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Christian Brothers Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. R. Ross Fales as the fourth president in school history. He will be the first lay president of the Academy when his term officially begins in July 2022. Fales has served as the Academy’s principal since 2015. During his tenure as principal, Fales has guided CBA to several accomplishments, most notably earning the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2017. It was the second time in school history that CBA earned the award and was one of just 50 high schools nationally to receive the accommodation that year. After graduating Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Fales’ career in education began as a science teacher and swimming coach at several New Jersey high schools, before joining the CBA. Fales has 16 years of experience in school administration, earning his first role at CBA as Dean of Students in 2006. He was quickly elevated to Associate Principal for Student Affairs in 2007, where he oversaw discipline, student life, service programs, and athletics. He earned his master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Management, and Policy from Seton Hall University.

St. Agnes Academy has named Deborah Whalen Interim Head of School for the 2022 school year. Deborah began her career at St. Agnes Academy as the academic dean and director of admission in 1998. She assumed the role of principal at St. Agnes in 2010, and proudly served as the instructional leader of the school until 2020 when she stepped down to return to the classroom as a Spanish teacher. She has balanced a busy career while raising three children. Her daughters graduated from St. Agnes in 2018 and 2020. Prior to moving to Houston for her career at St. Agnes, she served as the academic dean at The Woodside Priory School. Deborah has also taught and coached at Bellarmine College Preparatory, an all-boys Jesuit high school in San Jose. Deborah has an MA in educational leadership from California State University.

Lycée Français de New York is please to announce Vianney Motte as their next Chief Finance and Operations Officer. Vianney leaves Arkadin/NTT Cloud Communication where he holds and impressive 13-year tenure, having served respectively as VP for Finance and Administration for North America, VP for Corporate Finance in Paris, France, VP for Legal and Finance, and finally Chief Financial Officer. Previous he held a variety of financial leadership positions at companies such as Hermes of Paris, Carl Zeiss SMT, Cegetel (Vivendi Universal), and Schneider Electric. Vianney holds an MBA from ESSEC Graduate School of Management in Paris, and a Superior Finance and Accounting Diploma from Lycée Saint-Genevieve in Versailles, France.

The Rt. Rev. W. Nicholas Knisely is pleased to announce that Edward E. Biddle will become the next Chief Financial Officer of the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island, effective January 31, 2022. Ed comes to the Diocese from the Masters School in Katonah, NY, where he was the Associate Head of School for Finance and Operations. He had been at Masters since he retired from JPMorgan Chase in 2015. While at Masters, he was responsible for the management of all aspects of Finance and Accounting and oversaw maintenance and development of the school’s 100-acre campus and 17 buildings. In addition to his professional accomplishments at Masters, Ed was an active member of St Luke’s Episcopal Church in Katonah, NY, serving variously as Vestry member, Treasurer, and Senior Warden. Ed is a graduate of Dartmouth College, with an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

The Canterbury School of Florida is excited to welcome Hollis Amley as their 9th Head of School. Hollis leaves St. John’s School in Houston, TX where has been responsible for day-to-day operations for the Upper Division since 2014. She began her career at St. David’s School in Raleigh, NC where she progressed from teacher to Department Chair while also serving as Head Coach of the school’s inaugural swim team. Previously, at the Browning School, an all-boys school in NYC, she served as history teacher and Student Advisor. In 2011, she returned to St. David’s School where she gained experience as Dean of Faculty and Assistant Headmaster of Academics and Student Life. Raised in St. Petersburg, FL, she graduated from Shorecrest Preparatory School. At Father Ryan, Jim has initiated a broad range of academic, programmatic, and campus improvements to benefit students, faculty, and the institution. Prior to leading Father Ryan, he served as Head of School at Cardinal Newman School in South Carolina. He began his career as an educator at his alma mater, Bishop Lynch High School, in Dallas, Texas, as a classroom teacher, coach, and academic dean. Jim earned a B.A. in history from the University of North Texas and an M.A. in Educational Administration from Texas A&M, Commerce.
