Jess Roberson
Jess is a Senior Associate with the Search & Consulting Group.
Her recent assignments have included successful administrator searches at Ashley Hall (SC), Mount St. Mary’s Catholic High School (OK), Providence Day School (NC), White Mountain School (NH), and BASIS International Schools (China).
Previous Experience
Jess has a wealth of experience in college advising and counseling. Since 2014, she has been an independent college counselor, providing individualized college advising to students and families in Memphis. She worked at Hutchison School (TN) for four years as a college counselor, lacrosse coach, and academic advisor. Prior to Hutchison, Jess lived and worked in Boston where she was a college counseling coordinator and college counselor at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School.
Before working in independent schools, Jess spent two years working at ConnectEdu in Boston, where she trained guidance counselors to use the online college application management system. Jess completed the Harvard Summer Institute for College Admissions in 2011.
Education & Interests
Jess received her B.A. in Art History from University of Virginia, where she also played club field hockey. Jess enjoys traveling to the lake and the beach with her family, and staying active by running, playing tennis, and doing yoga.
